When we don’t see the enemy’s names, we don’t exactly know which player is using such hack in a large fight, and we can’t right click on their names and “report”.
Not sure that this needs a hack. Have a look at

You can target AC through the gap above gates, into the towers. Are you sure it’s not that what you’re seeing?

What about the tiny vertical gap between door and wall on the sides? You can target skills through that, maybe AC as well.
While this is a serious issue, the best solution until ArenaNet fixes it is to prevent your opponents from building offensive arrow carts in the first place.

while you have a point, those slits are only in the spawn side gate, and it looks like the attack is from the north inner. and enemies dont have access to a spot where you would only need to look through 1 slit without other obstructions to view the courtyard.

In a very width & small window you can look onto as well as over the walls using the normal GW2 engine. And this is (unfortunately for WvW) an advertised feature of GW2.
As ANet knows this since month and it does not involve any hack, it can hardly be called an exploit.
They could just make it so that the arrowcart require a target and Player LoS to fire (same as all targetted skills).
Problem solved. You cant bypass it by zoomhack.

That really wouldn’t fix anything. Zoom hacks allow the player to see more of the field and around visual barricades such as walls. So long as the player is there, they can lock onto them.
IMO they should improve targeting so that ACs can easily target anything in range thus rendering zoom hacks moot. To make that balanced, ACs should take into consideration cover. Build that cata under a bridge, sorry AC user your arrows won’t go through a bridge.
Maybe a quick (probably unpopular fix) is to just prevent AC’s from being built out in the field in the first place? Have them strictly for base construction only. This doesn’t fix the fact that players can zoom hack to fire outside the base, but that will at least give the defenders a huge advantage, which they should have.

I’d send your videos and screenshots to exploits@arena.net especially when you can’t pinpoint a particular user. Make sure you include opposing server in your shots just as you did there.
They should just make some sort of line of sight idea for ACs, an AC shouldn’t be able to shoot through a wall.
All of this is too vague, and will continue to be too vague until Hugh Norfolk stumbles into it while riding a karma train to bang on a gate

Was responding like everyone else about nuking the ac before its built, gap over the gate, yadda, yadda, then read this and realized, oh wow, that’s right.
AC when used defensively = totally balanced.
AC when used offensively = ruins the whole game.
Solution: AC’s can only be placed within or on the walls of a tower/keep/castle etc.
These are anti-personnel weapons meant for fending off enemy zergs attacking you. Anywhere else the anti-personnel weapons are you.

Incorrect. You will be obstructed when the player character doesnt have a clear LoS to the target. This is impossible to go around.
Sidenote to above: Then ACs shouldnt be siege equipment at all, but rather something you order from the keep. That way they could easily balance the amount (just like mortars and cannons).

Restricting ground-targetting from 16×9 upto 4×3 aspect ratio in the center of the window sounds like a quick and easy solution.
