Which Guild is most Powerfuil in WvW?

Include Whole servers.

as Tactics. Persnal Skills. etc.

RAT in terms of average personal skill.

Whichever guild I am in.

i can’t claim to know all guilds but from the ones i’ve played with and played against, i would nominate Red Guard. i’ve been playing for like 11-12 years AGAINST (DAoC, warhammer and now GW2) them and one week with them on our side and they deliver.

Hard to say. How big is the zerg that you are talking about?

I cannot speak knowing all guilds in the game but as for T8 server nite guilds:

I am in the nite crew so this is best of nite crew…

COsA – not a huge guild but you can be dam sure 2-3 of them will wipe a 10 man nite zerg. if COsA is up it means we “poked the bear” or “kittend the bee’s nest” and they wake up to defend/push us back. i have not had more fun than a simple 5v5 COsA vs BS such skill in the fight that if anyone non COsA/BS walks in they are downed in seconds.

(BS) Nite crew <— yes im bias :P our day crew sucks…. we have total 3 camps when we log in… end of the nite shift +300 points and holding. as proof of this look back in the mach history at the 400k SF – 50k FC -45K ET weeks and now more like 320K SF -150K FC 80K ET score since the BS nite crew began (100k) it says something…

agian before someone says “they suck, you all suck” this is just based on the T8 match-up. So they is most likely many better guilds than this but, these are noteworthy.

Currently? probably Jade Quarry…

Vizunah as a server is..they will do anything to win. Anybody who ever faced them will vouch for it.

French canadians who play on Vizuna server, they carry whole server on their arms and mock whole other part of Europe…

If i had to decide based on the individual player skill i would nominate either the old BNF (before they got more members, they need some practice atm) or REQ. Those two guilds are pretty small, mostly running with about 5 people but are able to defeat much larger groups.

That said, this decision is based on which guilds i fought against so far (that means: no RG for example).

From what i have faced i have to say [HB] from blackgate

From what i have seen, via videos ect, Red Gaurd looks pretty strong as well

It all depends on your definition of powerful.

In terms of boosting score i would name nightcapping-guilds like RUIN.

In terms of annihilating zergs guilds like Red Guard, Dius and Druckwelle come to mind.

In terms of inidividual player skill and small-scale-combat I would name BNF and Bookah. (Would also name my guild if it was political correct)

You cant tell unless theres a Guild Wars battle

Maybe, but Bunzy is the best d/d ele in the game. I’ve never seen anyone beat him in a 1on1. If you can please post videos of it on this forum.

Red Guard has an excellent reputation on the EU servers, there definitely up there with the best of them.

I’m from Piken Square where Red Guard is, and they get my vote indeed.

Of course I can’t compare to ‘all’ other guilds since I haven’t watched all streams, experienced all those other guilds fighting.
So maybe there are other guilds out there who would do better. If so, I’m sure RG wouldn’t mind fighting them if they have the chance.

At least on our server RG is considered to be among the best in the game.

But the pug always keeps dropping lvl 20 blue stuff for me

The pug has endless numbers.
The pug can be found anywhere at anytime.
The pug can make or break an attack or defense.
The pug has no face, it can be anyone.

The pug has no reasoning and is a force to reckon with!

Any other claim is just someone trying to showoff their guild.

I am a french player from VS (EU T1).

Since i play McM, the best opponent we had are (for me) :
- RG (ex-BT)
- IRON/KAZ (Desolation)

It is a pleasure to play against them, good fights.

But the best are the guilds of Grand Cross which allowed our server to keep in T1 since le start of WvW

I won’t be biased and post up my guild, but being from T8 I’d choose Envy, never saw their leader Andro loose 1v1 or 1v2 in that matter. Hope you guys the best wherever you are

Yarr has no more then 20 members: p not that big, CoSa is an expanding guild from what I here.

Depends. Some really good guilds like BNF i mentioned above don’t got the numbers to do something like 20vs20. But i honestly think they could destroy RG in a 3vs3 or similar.

Obviously the only valuable answer should be given by ANet cuz they have the stats.
We don’t know all guilds, this is impossible to say which guild is better. For french guilds WL and MOS are severely skilled and efficient. For non-french guilds this is hard to say, at some points some guilds were very strong but after a couple of weeks we were just running on them. IRON seems to be strong atm. RG have a specific way of playing, they are like a tornado still you wonder sometimes if they indeed have any plan, but they are excellent at what they do.

GvG in wvwvw maps that would be epic!

1v1 doesn’t mean best at WvW, just saying. It is a different skill set and play style completely. Regardless, this was not meant as an insult towards anyone. I am sure the player you mentioned kicks kitten

I can’t speak of playing against them in GW, but regarding the other two games (which isn’t relevant to this topic), I will have to whole heartedly disagree with you from personal experience.

From personal experience, I will have to disagree with you in regards to being the most powerful. They are, however, a top tier guild among their peers. (just not the top)

I think a guild can just be judged on the quality of play, and not on the number of members.

Guilds as IRON/KAZ are (for me) simply guilds invite all pick ups on their servers to join them as VSS/VSD/NIGHT on Vizunah.

In terms of quality of play, the strongest guild we’ve seen against Vizunah is Red Guards.

It’s very funny to see comments like “Vuzunah can do nothing without Canadians” knowing that they are only 3/4 each night on the Ts server. Which is quite representative of their number on our server. xD

Untill they implement their own game title of guild wars. There won’t be such a thing as the official title, most powerful guild.

Even if some of the people here state that this guild is the best, my guild is the best, your guild is the best. In it’s current state, it’s an answer that will always be based on opinions. Not facts.

Having a skilled fight in say 5vs5/10vs10/15vs15 and so on, some guilds may be better than others in teamplay and skill. But they may be lacking tactics in other parts where other guilds shine.

Quite simply, the question cannot be answered now. Everyone who tries to answer this atm, are just people trying to stretch their own kitten imo.

But, do give us guild wars tbh, that would be awesome.

There really isn’t a “most powerful” guild in WvWvW because different guilds fight in different ways examples would be Talon’s and AoN prefer Open field combat while other guilds prefer breaking into Keeps.

You cannot determine a best when there are different play styles like that you have to be more to the point as to the best at what in WvWvW?

Probably some guild who get their sPvP players in WvWvW.

Thanks but RG is way out of our league. They stomped us hard when we faced Piken Square. Even tho we improved a lot lately, they would still beat us. That said, i would nominate a lot of the Piken Square guilds. They are very organised, skilled and obviously learned a lot from RG.

There are many guilds RG has fought that been good VOTF, SiN, KAZ, MOS, OPT, LNM, HB, TUP, RNV, Nuke, PRX but at the moment the guild that stands out as being the overall best and the guild that demands the most respect is probably ZDs – Za Drots from Seafarers Rest. Also we are still looking forward to fighting vs. GH from Desolation another Russian guild who we have heard and seen so much about.

Of any servers that we faced :

Small scale ( 10/15) : Tempst / Defiance
Large scale ( 20+ ) : Red Guard / SiN

It’s funny to see how so many guild in 20+ ppl exchange they gameplay after facing RG and try to copy them.. unfortunately in 90% if case it’s a big fail…

VOTF get my vote. Tsym would be right up there as well.

Red Guard demolished VOTF when they came over for a week to have some fun on NA servers. I have yet to see any guild nearly as coordinated as them with the same numbers..

The dominating guild on Blackgate is HB, BG has went up against so many different servers since Christmas that whoever HB votes as the best I would have to take their word for it

Because winning gvg is all that matters right? Red guard are the best at what they do, but what they do is only small aspect of wvw. It’s the total package that counts. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing but respect for RG and I do consider them to be a great guild. Just not the greatest.

I agree with this. If we will talk about “best WvW guild” we need to evaluate so many aspects like how they fight, roam, attack, defend, siege placement, personal skills, etc.
