Unbalanced due to population/skill != unbalanced due to actual mechanics.

That has nothing to do with the balance of the actual map design.

Also Nexon/NCsoft/Anet doesn’t see WvW as a huge money maker.
So please tell me what exactly is being balanced with having identical maps? The core design already creates great imbalance, I’m sure they considered that population/coverage issues would happen yet the three servers get the same map when they were not equal to begin with.
A lack of Budget and Time.
Also Nexon/NCsoft/Anet doesn’t see WvW as a huge money maker.
Ironic because it’s by far the most popular/successful PVP mode in this game.

Or they could have spent time you know, developing and testing maps each with their own pros and cons. Different != inferior.
Creating a game mode with the propensity for outrageous imbalance like WvWvW then saying the BL maps are the same for the sake of balance does not wash.

And yet if there are difference there WILL be one map that is better than the others.
It is completely impossible to make 3 non-identical maps exactly balanced.

Different does not equal inferior or superior I feel the need to say that again even after I said that each map can have advantages and disadvantages, kind of like the Eternal Battlegrounds keeps, it would require some effort on Anet’s part. Furthermore, nothing in this game is “exactly balanced” and I seriously don’t think any sane person is looking for that so please stop making it seem like varying BLs can’t work. And that is all I have to say on the matter.
They just need to ditch 2 of the BLs and make 2 new ones. 4 different maps, more fun. win win.

To mske sure no server got the “good” map. The best thing to do is to simply make new sets of maps instead of just singular ones so that all servers are on equal footing.

Of course, but no matter how much they work on it, one map WILL be slightly better.

Except of course, the 3 perfectly identical borderlands that are available in perfectly balanced ways to each server (each start from the citadel, each start from the left side and each start from the right side).
Now, granted you could make different maps that are fairly balanced (even though players will find exploits and imbalances within minutes), but there really wouldnt be much point.
Fixing the broken functions that the maps where designed for (ie orbs) should be higher priority IMO.

Yeah, but I have a feeling pure WvW players spend less money on the gem store than pure PvE players. Simple mathematics.

I totally believe all three maps are the same to avoid complaints one map has an advantage over another.
