Yea, we got a new WvW team just recently and Tyler B. is head of WvW now. They had a reddit announcement a while back.

I don’t mind the borders now though, even roaming around it is alright, if you have waypoints built aswell, besides parts of the air keep with the bridges and the mobs around the oasis area, when it comes to open field around there, there’s lots of terrain to take advantage of.

No it won’t, simply samey pvp rewards based on participation will, but its in beta, so they need to fix scoring and give more unique rewards. The hardcore players will stay for the fights, there’s not anything like wvw yet.

yay.can we also fix the population bug with it as the servers are permanently full because of the server link!

Awesome, can’t wait to defend NWTower against spawn trebs again. So fun.

Also, love talking kitty-scat about features before they ship, speculating, and general hype. Actually shipping features is overrated.

How will anet employees function in the real working world when the game officially dies I wonder. Their new bosses are going to reply “ummmm exact date? I’m not familiar with the term soon”.

I’m actually sad the new borderlands are going. I know I’m in the minority, but I actually love them, especially with the new changes. Any chance of keeping them around and just adding the old ones back, too?

Should be going on a rotation, they are not disappearing completely. The rotation time frame is yet TBD.

I could live with a two week rotation- that way I wouldn’t play so much when Deserted are up and play more when Alpine is up.

Can’t wait to be able to go roam around Alpine again without having to run forever to reach the action, which is one of the failings of the Deserted maps.

When told you are going to get something you want in the future, rationally, you should be happy. I want that and I am going to get that, so that is a good thing, right? However, whenever anet announces we are going to get a good thing in the future, so many of you scream and cry because you aren’t getting it NOW. Grow the f up.

Yeah, what does “release” mean? It could mean the quarterly release so another 2 – 2 1/2 months?

The reason people get upset is because Anet is so vague; they’re about as clear as dishwater.

Even a simple, “not tomorrow” but “not 2 months either” would be better.
