Lol you only get points when you capture the keeps?
This makes no sense at all, think about it.
e.g.: One server has all the points all the time because the are simply better.
Another server takes over all keeps during the night shortly before the match ends.
Both servers have the same amount of points.

We have 3 sides and there is slim to no chance to end up with same score and even if we did ? Is it wrong if two server have tie ? Btw it could happen in current system as well.
Let me rephrase:
The current system makes no sense at all, think about it.
One of the server takes over all keeps during the night and getting scores every 15 minutes the whole night ?
If you want to go to such theories let try like this:
One server invest 30 minutes time at 2am and capture all or close to all map.
Now 15h passed its 17:00 PM people start coming back from school/work etc..
So what happens in that kind of scenario:

Now please tell me where is the incentive for players to fight here ?
Point wise someone got point without the need for any real defense just investing 30 to 60 mins and thats it.
Yes the servers that have players during off time will always have an edge and its ok as long as they are actually fighting for it.
No such thing as perfect system but imo current one is completely flawed.
p.s. I could be wrong and I often am.

Winner will be the server with the biggest number of objectives during the last second before the reset. No matter what happened during the last 14 days.
EDIT: It will be worst. Servers will exchange themselves keep to be able to make more points than the leader.
It reminds me Ilum in SWTOR.

Exchange? what is the point of doing it. In Aion players traded AP, it had more reason for making powerfull themselfs, and here is only server ranking, not to power up own guild or yourself.
Im supporting OP, we need changes.
Keep it as is and make all servers International so guilds from all over time zones will play and/or pair EU/NA servers based on rank like rank 1 US/EU vs 2 US/EU vs 3US/EU and so on.. so yet again will be less dead zones.
We need a rework of the scoring system,agreed. It just sucks to start at the morning being 40/50k points behind a server who played during AM. It should be done that if there is no one fighting in the zone they get no point for holding the keep,or way less than it is now.
The OP suggests an innovative way of making the capturing and defending of keeps useful. There definately needs to be with a change to the scoring system, as I have vocally promoted and suggested, die to the insignificance of the points generated during peak times, the only real significance of peak times is to keep you team in it, just to wait for the evening so you can basically help yourself to a free 100% bonus points if you rule the map by doing PVE against little or no enemy. Its pretty rediculous.
Here here for change, good suggestion OP, maybe this could be part of dumbing down the significance of map capping during the night, the team wont nearly generate as many points by simply taking the map free of competition, it also means defense is imperitive to hold your lead.
