It appears that the better you were and the earlier you got your meta done, the less likely you are to have gotten your reward. Especially if you finished before the April patch. No chest here, either.

I played on the server Dragonbrand through out all of season 2 then i check my WvW achieves and it says i placed 5th place when we actually placed 6th in gold league. I transfered off of DB Friday 5/30/14 8:20 p.m. EST to Yaks Bend. Yes I completed the meta achievements. All my friends/guildies got their chests but me.

Also still no chest for me,i completed all achievs,and we placed 2nd.I know a guy that loggs into wvw like once or twice a week and he did get his chest,while i’m in wvw on a daily base,dont really understand such a screw up.

So where is my chest and wvw tickets -,-

Stayed in Sanctum of Rall entire season, completed the meta with plenty of time to spare, yet no rewards chest.

I think they are having to roll up their sleeves and manually log people in as done and rewarded. Its the weekend now and its going to take time.

Leave it for a week I reckon, its a big list by the sound of it.

I didn’t read all the pages, so if someone has pointed this out sorry. But my guildmates and I have noticed a pattern for who got the chest and who didn’t. Under the WvW —> World vs World achievements tab, anyone whose S2 achievement matched the actual rank the server got, was rewarded a chest. Those of us who didn’t get a chest, the place did not match up with what the server got – instead it matched up with S1 placement.

I hope this is fixed before Tuesday. I want that Mist sword so bad. >.< It’s so beautiful. /heartbroken

I finished Meta probably within the first few weeks, if that’s what’s causing bug. :o

We got 2nd Place and I have 2nd Place Achievement so your idea doesn’t work for me, Sorin. I also have 1st place Achievement from S1. Are people who participated in S1 at all getting Chest? Maybe the difference in reward mechanics from S1 could be bugging it?

I can’t be positive, it seems that we are very few people having this problem (only a few pages in this topic), so i’m not confident at all for this issue to be resolved (like the numerous other issues still not corrected in this game for months).

I’m not here to complain because I’m one of the players who didn’t receive his chest yet.
I would just report what I can see on my character :

- I finished the meta pretty early (in 3-4 first weeks)
- Then I finished all the achievements
- Played only on the JQ server (never transfered)
- On the archivement summary WvW it is written that I unlocked the chest for the 2nd place (but it should be for the 1st place)

I have not received my reward : (

Most probably just a coincidence. There are multiple people (including myself) where rank and achievement match and that still didn’t get a chest.

I completed the meta-achievement during the second weeks of the Summer Season. My server (Yak’s Bend) received second place in the tournament, and now I have not received any rewards. However, in my achievements, it states that I have a 4th Place Spring Tournament reward chest unlocked; I have neither received the chest, nor the correct achievement (should be for second place).

Didn’t get anything here either. I think that guy who mentioned it was bad coding was correct, as mostly people who did their achieves “early” were screwed over. Normally I’d wave it off as a few lost greens as the typical RNG goes, and the typical way support goes, but this time skins are involved and in Skin Wars 2, it’s kind of a big deal.

-Tarnished Coast, been on it for over a year.
-Switched WvW maps over and over.
-10/10 achieves

My friend’s account has the wrong spring season achievement (4th instead of 2nd for Yak’s Bend) and it is not on her most recent achievement list, despite not completing any achievements since Monday. So that is a definite possibility (at least in many instances).

On JQ since the game launched, never transferred. Completed the Meta early in the tourney. No chest, no award.. nothing.. but I will wait patiently in line for them to fix the bug/bugs.
I know I was one that had the bug recently where the Dailys didn’t reset for about 3 days. I guess I am one of the chosen to have to suffer the slings and arrows of Anet’s bugs and hopefully we all will rise from the ashes, better and stronger and oh – bug free.

Dragonbrand player since game launch…no chest. Completed the meta within days of the tourney starting up and well more than the 10 needed by the end. Achievement in my WvW tab says we came in 5th…we came in 6th. One thing I can mention that nobody else seems to have is that I had this 5th place achievement at least a day before the tourney ended though it never at any point appeared in my recent achievements list.

pve is fun but wvw keeps many of us playing this game, having fun and…..in some cases spending real money buying gems….please fix this bug soon…..lots of time spent – no reward as promised – leaves a bad taste – and no more real money coming in my case

Why should we get some sort of compensation? Every time something goes wrong, someone always ask for compensation. Problems come up and they are fixing it. They can’t hand out compensations every time someone is unhappy.

I am having the same problem, all I want is my chest.

Why bother Customer Support when they are aware of the problem and are working on it. We didn’t get our chest when we were suppose to, not big deal, we can not even use the tickets until Tuesday.

I’m on Gunnar’s Hold, I have played the entire season on this server, and same as everyone else no chest. Hidden achiev does show 2nd place now which I think is the right rank for GH? Not sure now XD Anyway no rewards….

Also I read in this thread that the problem might be fixed on the 1st of July which would be AFTER the merchant for ticket exchange has been removed.

…….. so much fail.

The many bugs are starting to overwrite my enjoyment of the game, to be honest.

That would be a fine attitude in the strange and enchanting parallel universe where ANet didnt already have this issue and people arent still missing their season 1 rewards.

Do you really think flooding support with tickets about a known issue is going to get it fixed faster? It won’t. It’ll just waste more time for everyone because then they’ll have to sort through tons of tickets about something they already know is bugged. It’s like when people support multiple tickets for the same thing. You’re just wasting everyone’s time in doing so.

Also, being as the tickets cannot even be spent yet, I’m not sure why people think they should get compensation, as you are literally losing NOTHING by not having the chest yet other than the ability to ping your tickets in chat.

Been on JQ since before launch, finished the meta in the first couple weeks, panel shows we placed second (when we were first), no chest. My fiance (also on JQ since before launch) finished the meta last week, achievement panel also shows second, also no chest. Neither of us did the season 1 meta. I was online last night when WvW reset rolled over, he was not. Both of us switched characters, switched maps, went into EB, went into Borderlands, went into EOTM, logged out to desktop entirely, nothing.

So it’s not even a clear case of “people who did it early didn’t get it”. It sounds like there’s some sort of complicated mess somewhere in the code preventing these from being properly rewarded.

Realistically, it’s not a huge deal to me. It’ll get fixed. If I don’t get my chest before Tuesday, well, that’s just more time for me to decide which skin that I’ll never use I want.

As long as I get the chest/tickets before the June 3rd Battle Historian is ready, I’ll be a happy camper.

It just feel like WvWers are consistently getting shoved to the side, it’d be nice to know we matter in the eyes of ANet lol. It’s frustrating. I don’t PvE, so when I hear about all these new additions and quality of life improvements to PvE it irritates me because there’s plenty that needs to be fixed with WvW but is it getting fixed? Nope. :/ I mean, there are people who still haven’t even gotten their S1 rewards. I just don’t think that this type of problem would happen in PvE.

Still waiting for mine. Finished my meta about 2 days into the tournament and frequently went to WvW/BG-TS to play. I’ve been in Blackgate all season (actually since pre-release) and my achievement says “1st Place” under the WvW tab for Spring 2014.

The only difference is that I gave up on recieving the chest. I’ve had too much of their “treatment” to actually believe that the end of this mess will be a satisfying fix.

Because we are customers of this game, if your a customer and something goes wrong. It’s natural they will give you a coupon off. Maybe if they gave me a coupon off on gems or something. Or something, they could at least do something. Always saying sorry, is not gonna cut it either.

If I find a bug and use it to gain money I get banned, if there is a bug however that works in my disadvantage it is ‘sorry.’ I would feel like it’s no more than natural to at least get a little bit of compensation.

I say Anet should rather never host a WvW tournament that gives meta achievements because it is obviously too complicated for them to give out such rewards to their players.

Flooding support may not get the issue fixed faster, but it will allow Anet to better gauge the size of the problem. WvWvW players should absolutely flood support with tickets so that we become a voice louder than the PvE players. And remember, the issue probably affects PvE players who put the time into WvWvW too.

BTW, no chest appeared for me yet either.

this is the thing… if it says that I have unlocked the chest but never got a chest… how do they plan to fix it because there will be those who have really got the chest and those who didn’t get the chest.

I can’t see how they plan to fix this. Plus there will some people whose servers ranked differently to what it says who will have received a higher valued chest. Do they plan to take those extra tickets etc. away… and what happens if they’ve already unlocked the skins etc.

To be honest… I am not really that fussed about the skins… I just want my finisher for coming first… so that I can say that I was an active player in helping my server win.

No chest. Henge of Denravi, 1st place Silver. I have never transferred. HoD was the first server I chose when I bought the game. WvW achievement panel shows 1st place achievement and reward, but have not gotten it. Tournament meta achievement finished early like many others who haven’t gotten their chest, and all achievements are complete, not just 10.

Also, while I’m here I might as well mention that myself and a goodly portion of my guildmates are also affected by this. Meta completed, no chest.

In my case the placement achievement popped up around the end of week seven or partly into week eight. My meta was completed in the first week or so. Placement achievement correctly predicted a second place finish but I’ve not received the reward. Not when the achievement showed up and not when the last match of the season concluded.

EDIT: If it’s of any import, my account was one of the ones cut off from Power of the Mists rewards following release.

Where is my chest….I completed my meta the first week of the tournament and i dont have any chest….

No chest either. GoM since launch, meta done early and 1st place achievement unlocked. I’ve had problems receiving the world bonuses in the past, maybe there’s some connection.

Either way, I kind of expected it.

I have the 5th place achievement unlocked even though I am on Jade Quarry, I dint even transfer any server….

No chest either, but a family member got theirs when we logged in about the same time on same IP!

I’m also bugged…

-On Sorrow’s Furnace, which tied for 2nd place in Bronze League with Devona’s Rest
-Battle Historian is accurate (shows 2nd place)
-Hidden achievement is accurate (shows 2nd place)
-Never transferred (have been on SF since launch)
-Not only completed meta, but completed every single WvW Spring Tournament 2014 achievement
-I did not receive chest (sadface)
-Significant other who lives in same household also shows all of the above, but got chest
