Completed meta threshold within 36 hours of season, all meta achievements within 1 week. Everyone I know has received their rewards except me, even though the placing showed up correct in WvW achievement tab. Chest shows unlocked but it was never delivered.
There’s a bug that sometimes prevents certain games from knowing any historical WvW data—even for their own territory. This can prevent the game from giving Season rewards. This also affected the Dawn of the Seasons achievement’s behavior. Until this is tracked down and fixed, there seems to be a smaller chance to be given the Season rewards later in the week of a WvW match. Chances are extremely good shortly after a new match has started that you’ll be given the rewards.
Thank you for your patience while we solve these issues. While there are quicker ways to get rewards out to people who are missing them, it’s best we take the time to fix the underlying issues and allow the corrected code to issue the rewards in due time. Neither player nor developer wants the same issue to potentially happen a second time. Or for rushed work to cause different issues in the future.
Potentially happen a second time??? Since the “underlying issue” hasn’t ever been solved do you think there’s a chance we could just work on the “quicker ways to get rewards out to people who are missing them” part?

Some have speculated that the no-chest and wrong-place bugs are related. As far as I can tell, they are not. I was on a second place server and have received the correct achievement. I have not, however, received a season reward chest.
Some have also pointed out that there might be some connection between how rapidly one finished the meta/if one finished all of the achievements and not just the minimum. For my part, I did complete the meta within the first two weeks; I also completed all of the achievements within the first two weeks. Whether or how this affects receiving season rewards is unknown, but I have seen this idea pop-up in this thread and others, so I mention it here for full disclosure.
Topic Summary for Mark Community coordinator to relay to wvw devs:
1) The earlier people completed the meta achievement, the lesser chance they had to get chest. I might have a correlation with the bug.
2) Some people have the wrong tournement place achievement. The zero point AP to show where you ended in wvw spring tournement, is wrong for some people, and almost all of those people didn’t get a chest.
3) Some people who never/very rarely transfer, also got no Chest.
4) People that completed the meta last week/even AFTER the tournement ended, have a very high chance to get the chest.
5) People that transferred seems to be affected a lot also by the bug.
6) Dolly finishers seems to be missing.
Especially point 1 is very pronounced. It seems the server lost track of people who got achievement very fast (1st 3 weeks of tournement). You should start investigation there.
And don’t say we don’t have positive attitude. I just spared you, Mr CC an hour of work. That’s 50 dollars given to Anet, so to speak. The community wants the game to get better. We just need a little cooperation from the other side as well.

OK this is getting ridiculous! Reading through the comments bug has existed in the 1st season! Yet how was not anticipated in happening in the season 2? Somehow i kinda question, are bugs even taken seriously, or does unsolvable bugs pose so much of a threat for Anet so they just say, no hold on we are looking into it, while not doing anything at all and hoping that players which did not receive the chest would just lay quiet and slowly go into silence and oblivion!!?
The fact that annoys me and probably a lot of people is the fact a Mod/Admin was the one who made this thread but now they seem to ignore us. I suggest you lot pay more attention to the people who WvW, Take time to play your game and enjoy it or you will have a game with no one on and it will die before you show any new expansion.

Tarnished Coast server. Been on this server since Early Access. Never transferred. Still don’t have my reward. Is Customer Support still not handling tickets for this?

Multiple Tickets tends to make them a little upset because it makes more work for them, one ticket should be fine

Why not, in the name of fairness, hold off on making the vendor available until the problem is solved? Either everyone should be able to enjoy/spend the tokens they earned, or nobody should. A piecemeal solution where some people end up waiting months while others don’t (looking at you Season 1 problems), is just fundamentally demoralizing and unfair.
To be honest, if they haven’t fixed the problem for last season, there is NO WAY we’re getting our bugged chest back for this season, Anet sure has a way of kittening people off but what can you do, it’s their game, play it or quit it I guess..

Please refrain from doing this in the future. They can’t fix your problem more than once and it won’t go any faster just because you put in more than one ticket for the same issue. On the contrary! It just means more work for the customer support and longer waiting times for everyone that has an open ticket.
Yeah they should fix WvW but for some reason they care only about Living Story. Why? You are so proud of this ANet? This is not something to be proud of. For me, and I think for many of us, that temporary content can go away and in the free time ANet should fix our WvW content!
If someone spits in your burger and tells you they don’t care, how positive can you be about it? It should be fixed. Now. Not in 1 month or 2 years. Should have been fixed by now. Stop working on creating more broken temporary content until you manage to fix the existing one. It’s common sense.
P.S. I still am waiting for my tickets. Maybe until the end of the next tournament or the next one or the next next next one or hell, maybe until 2022 they can solve the problem for everyone.
Why bother Customer Support when they are aware of the problem and are working on it. We didn’t get our chest when we were suppose to, not big deal, we can not even use the tickets until Tuesday.
That would be a fine attitude in the strange and enchanting parallel universe where ANet didnt already have this issue and people arent still missing their season 1 rewards.
Common sense seems to be a thing of the past.
Even Anet doesn’t understand that WvW is the real end game and the most important thing that it ignores daily, monthly, and since the beginning of the game.
