Fun fights in Maguuma Bl. Not a lot of numbers, so it was really fun with pretty even fights.

Hope you guys at Maguuma had fun fighting us.

Kinda wish we could, but when we drop down to T4 it’s always switching places with them. Though we did beat them pretty badly last time because of our numbers. Dunno if they have enough to match our fairweather crew.

Overall……Great fights Maguuma and CD!

Even with large forces from all sidse our group found many small skirmishes at camps and else where.

There was the one Maguuma 3 man havoc made up of 2-thieves and 1-ele I believe at north camp….that were just awesome …and they knew it! I forgot to make note of the guild tag.. Very skilled and VERY annoying…it took us forever to kill you guys! GJ!!…and now please go to CD and annoy them..lol.. Actually…it would be great to have a fight club night sometime when and if things slow down…I would love to get some tips for my ele play!

I just had a fun little fight with a Crystal Desert thief, Human female with D/D and Shortbow I think they guild was Amic? Or Armic? Something similar.

Maybe, but everyone will be too busy trying to do all their “character progression” that it’ll be nothing but full map karma trains anyways.

@RedV/Deso, trying to keep fights even but it’s starting to get hectic as action picks up. If we end up killing you with more, nothing personal. Have enjoyed the fights so far.

It depends on what ANet uses for “character progression”…. some of it may preclude zerging… and some of it may be easier to get from zerging.

Sad to see the reddit guild is still up to the same tricks.

We’ve had fun fighting against CD today.

So there was a havoc made up of a d/d ele, a thief, and some guy that shot rainbow arrows (didn’t get a clear look).

The ele pressured and tanked and the arrow guy attacked from range. The thief would drain 3/4s of my health bar before I could see them.

Not a fun group to fight.

*Conveniently leaves out the part where he forgot that thieves could stealth downed allies and ran around like a maniac looking for the the magical disappearing ele.

So I was around jerrifers, about to run into a keep past some invaders so I pop my invuln….. then an ele knocks me down through the invuln o.o.

Yeah… when SB and lowlands was taken from us, everybody was mad and just zerg rushed the keeps. Terrible idea to try to take our keep.

My whole guild has been there.. it is very small though :P. We still have many more people that are here than our last time in t4 but you can see a huge difference from this weeks numbers from last.. maybe it is spring break.. idk.

The part that makes me the most confused though is all the people that started showing commander tags last week and have since disappeared.. they paid 100 gold so they could look cool while we rolled over smaller pops (I guess) and then disappear when it is a harder game lol.

I understand there fair weather players.. but fair weather commanders.. really? Seems like a waste to me. Why bother buying the tag?

Personally I have found this week very fun though.. much more fun than last week!

Our numbers looked vastly superior last week because DR and IoJ stopped playing. Friday night on reset we had the normal amount and struggled to handle EB, but we did. Saturday I wasnt around, so not sure what happened in EB. Been in EB this morning since I got up. We have peaked around 25 or so. Have had outmanned all morning, barely holding our end. As it stands now we have 10 in Eb and getting pushed of by 40+ green. Probably 2 weeks stagnation with some prime time fighting then back down to tier 5.

Nope…I watched the catapult for awhile (I was the ele you kept clusterbombing, jerks) and I didn’t see it hitting anything. When I arrived, it was just hitting the cliff face. I left it for awhile because I was really confused as to what it could hit. I saw that it was hitting the SE tower treb spot, but that’s not a destructible wall. I guess it was splashing the one next to it? Either way, I feel like you might as well do the standard placement against the wall. It only delayed me a few seconds in finding it, but I heard the cata sound all the way from north gate.

Yeah, like I said..was just goofing around. It has to be angled to hit top path and then gets splash damage…which isn’t much on a fortified wall…….dang noisy cata! we tried oiling it up..but that didn’t help much.. =/

This has indeed been a fun match up so far. I would always rather lose a somewhat competitive match up the win by a blow out. I think we pushed the score last week just so we could move up into a more challenging tier. And the servers we left both seem to be in a much more balanced and fun match up too.

I hope we can keep it tight all week!

That was a fun fight. Sorry it was almost always 2-3v1 on you…I was kinda hoping to test myself vs you 1v1……I have no doubt I would have lost….but that is how you get better…right?…nice work fighting that to a draw (well technically it could be counted as a win on your part as you did still kill our yak..and maybe downed a couple of us too?…but I lived….so I count that as a draw for me….lol) and being out-manned the whole time. …lots of cussin’ on our comms over that one….lol

And then there is that thief that can’t be caught!! o.O ..we had 10 ppl chasing him last night…I finally gave up….and I could see his pet too…so kinda knew where he was….I really would like to know how to counter that…. =/

*edit….or is the pet just a distraction?…..when you shadow step or HS/SB leap..the pet lags behind some.?…..so actually would help mislead your pursuers maybe? I will have to test this….

A few hundred badges for the first two nights of the matchup is a good indicator of the action. Really active battlefields this week. If you’re looking for a fight just walk 50 yards in any direction.

The battle for second place is really tight right now. I can’t imagine we’d lose participation with this level of action (except maybe in the jumping puzzles). There are some large Maguuma groups you have to watch out for but we’ve also had some really good extended battles. Overall, the target-rich environment is much more fun than hitting doors. Hopefully CD and Maguuma are enjoying the fights as well.

Sorry for the bad fights in eternal the past couple hours, SBI/CD. I was kind of commanding on autopilot and hadn’t really eaten breakfast/woken up yet. Hopefully we can give you better fights later.

That theif would be triggerless [IKR], he can usually fight a zerg by himself for a long time. The “pet” u saw was his miniature quaggan.
