Is when players from all three servers agress on basic rules for a 1v1 dueling event at a detrmined time and place.

Behind the windmill at the south supply camp on one of the BL is a good place.

Basic Rules;

1. 1v1 only fights no help from party members (heals/buffs)
2. Ask for a duel …point and bow?
3. Bow before starting and after.
4. First to drop loses….Do NOT stake the downed…!

I had a lot of fun earlier in the day when the CD oceanic presence stormed EB. And SBI you are a pesky bunch. Leave you guys alone and you throw a party in our bl.

Are there any SBI/CD at the duels or is it just all Mag as usual?

Did what we could today in EB. Obviously lack the numbers to hold anything, so if we can settle in here and someone with a tad bit more numbers then us but less then Mag settles in at green could be real competitive. With the weekend gone its probably gonna look like a total landslide but think we had a pretty decent showing this weekend. Good job today SBI.

I don’t like T4 if it means roflstomping our opponents because our fairweather players show up.

Btw, if you are around at certain time of day, CD has a wild 50-75 man zerg.

I think yaks bend has fewer people than us by a slight margin. So if they come back down and we move up, it would probably be what you’re looking for. But they’re feeding off of SoS’s high ranking at the moment, so it might take a week or two.

I think CD must have the trashiest roamers I’ve ever encountered. Usually servers either don’t have roamers at all, or they have roamers who maintain loose levels of respect. But not CD. They have roamers, but they have no respect. They have will run you down when solo no matter how long it takes, add on your fights, emote, jump on your body, etc. And then when you get equal numbers, they get absolutely crushed once and then hide in spawn.

I’m not sure how the server has a decent amount of roamers yet hasn’t developed any concept of respect, but it can be very frustrating to deal with.

Its that special time of the month in a WvWers life when things get a little dirty for about a week or so. Then it magically vanishes as if the hand of some unknown overseer erased it from existence. Only to come back 1 month later.

Yeah… that wasn’t meant in a good way. I’ve seen lots of questionably terrible ideas for siege placement. I say questionably because I’m not actually sure they’re bad just because we took care of them quickly. I could be biased as all the SBI attempts at keeps/towers I have been at have failed. It’s almost looks like given different circumstances, they would have worked. But alas, the enemy is mute on the battlefield, and as usual, I am just left in wonder.

SBI have actually been fun to fight in open field. You can find groups from three to twenty running around. And while I’ve yet to make a rival of anyone, they have been enjoyable fights. I’m currently running a new build and I’m terrible at it (excuses, ikr?) so can’t properly measure SBI’s abilities.

Can’t wait to show off our new and improved overnight presence in T3

If you guys did that with more than ten people I’m gonna be upset. Because ten is all we ever have during any week that isn’t in favor of Maguuma.

Have you tried posting a new thread about it? Maybe you could get some insight to other servers or see what would be the best new home for you.

We’ve always known this about CD. Before they crumbled they had a much larger amount of players that would emote for any reason at all. I ran into a group of five CD that killed me then laughed. Then I took them on 1v2 (this is an accomplishment for me as I have no kittening idea how to fight properly with this build), won, and proceeded to /laugh.

Pretty much par for the course with CD for many groups. Probably Maguuma too but I dunno. I do have to tell people to stop /laughing at invaders all the time :T

I for one not going to deny that it does happen occasionally, not just during roaming but zerging as well whenever there are new folks joining in. The experienced ones will tell the newb to stop the taunting & grow up, most of them will listen, but some will just continue. I’m sorry that you come across such kiddies, but I will like to let you know that there are some of us roamers do practice basic courtesy during dueling, so don’t stop roaming

I’ve always found Monday to be more indicative of the week than the weekend… score update plox.

CD is just taking the easy stuff so far. Attempted to take SM but it was pretty botched.

To the Mag guys that fought us, it was pretty kitten fun, awesome fights guys. As you can see, we still have much to learn as a guild. We look forward to more of these in the future.

Yeah you guys beat us 3 to 2 matches I think, will need to work on my veil placement for fights like that, thanks for the fun fights. You guys would love fighting Dragonbrand, maybe you should hope to move up at some point.

Thank you to those Mag’s who came by to come fight us! We’ve been trying hard to improve our open ground tactics and that was an awesome experience for us! Hopefully we can do it tomorrow xD?

I don’t understand why so many folks get so bent out of shape because someone emoted or jumped on their corpse. Perhaps I’m just hardened to this type of trash talking since my preference is actually full-loot, hardcore PvP (where trash talking is not only common, but expected), but getting upset because you were jumped on, emoted, or zerged in carebear GW2 WvW is, well, dumb. . . .

If you catch me when I’m trying to run away, emote me, trash talk me, jump on my corpse. I don’t care. I got outplayed, pure and simple. If you zerged me while I was fighting someone else, emote me. I shouldn’t have tunnel-visioned and I should have been more aware of my surroundings.

I will say this: Maguuma has, by far, the most players who will quickly request a party join after you completely decimate them. Often times, it’s not to congratulate, but usually is some form of excuse or gripe about how they were beaten. I simply don’t even accept the party joins anymore to avoid the bellyaches.

I don’t mind this at all anymore. If twelve people are chasing me down solo, then wasting time with emotes after the usually pointless kill, that’s twelve people not fighting our actual organized force, or otherwise engaged in an actual WvW objective.

It’s been a lot of fun this week, and it’s a totally different pace from our last match-up. I’ve been primarily taking the backseat and assisting other groups as other commanders have wanted to step up, which is really good to see. It’s important that there are constantly people trying to learn and improve. In some sense, I think SBI is actually growing from having fallen and come back up, and that’s great. The numbers we’re encountering are consistently much higher all around, and that coupled with a great grasp of strategy has made this a difficult match-up, and very fun.

Looking forward to more over the course of the week, and maybe at some point I’ll find the time to show up to a fight club again.

I really don’t care about the emotes/jumping. I threw those in because I think they are low class and CD roamers do it quite a bit. What really bugs me is the chasing a solo forever, adding on every fight they can, baiting you into what looks like a 1v1 just to add in when you have used some cooldowns, etc. It’s just not how people should act when there are so few of us.

And to be clear, I’m specifically talking about roamers. I don’t expect the for-the-realmers to treat roamers with respect because that’s not the game they play.

Hats off to SBI and CD. Really good fights this weekend. While points may not be a great reflection of the fights, more than once we were well pressured, low on supply and almost caught out of position.

To the SBI group that stomped rogues and setup 5 cats and a few ballista inside of dredge… that was brutal. We had to do suicide runs in order to burn you out. Brutal and well played.

The CD group of 4 – 10 taking camps last night in EB also really played havoc with supplies into SM. Also well done.

Lastly, hats off to the warrior I fought about 5 times last night. You got the better of my ranger for certain. I was pleased at how long I could stay up and yes… I had to use the npc’s the one or two times I fought you off…

Are any CD or SBI guilds interested in setting up a GvG tonight? I’m going to probably have 10-20 online tonight at around 8 est (server reset).

We did some 5v5s last night and it was a lot of fun. PM me here or in game if you’re interested.

There is a couple on Mag that do it, trust me on that..

but yes, I seen a lot of CD people who will chase forever….I had a thief chase me forever only when I turned around and fought I saw he had friends coming, so I ran some more..

Ran alway across the map think alright now I can fight him, Nope…..his buddies followed as well..Couldn’t see them cause of culling of course till it was to late.

Thought that was kind of kittenty….But hey, what can you do.

On the topic of CD being jerks… Had myself a good laugh a few days ago in WK when they were all stacked (40+) on the island trebbing and spamming laugh and point at the few people who were trying to get at them… Till Rekka zerged them.

I just tend to WP instantly when I’m killed on my own to save myself the headache.

I like SBI. They’re at 90 PPT and lost their entire BL except for Garrison and they find the energy to /laugh. Good to know that they’ll let everything fall to five people and a superior ram but still act smug. You guys are true Maguumans, you should join us.

I think most people understand at this point that “winning” in World vs World, has less to do how “skilled” your server is, and more to do with how “Many” are on that server.

This isn’t DAOC, The most populated server has the advantage pretty much 100% of the time in World vs World.
