Hello!

Darkhaven server, as some of you may know, suffered from guilds leaving us for greener pastures. I won’t lie – that hurt our server. However, during the past week we discovered that Darkhaven is a special place: new commanders stepped up, new guilds formed and are forming, the warriors of DH did not let the drama affect their spirits.
We fight till reset, and then we begin again!

My guild, Everlasting Abyss [abys], is dedicated to wvw and has a knack for ruining the enemy’s day. We kill and destroy while having a blat doing so, with laughter and friendship.

Come and join us at Everlasting Abyss guild on Darkhaven, we promise to make it worth your while! (Needles to say we have mumble and all the stuffs to run the guild)!

Come join us at Darkhaven server to feel what true fighting spirit is all about, sometimes against impossible odds!

And just to clarify – we will never leave Darkhaven! This is where it all began for us, and this is where it will end.

I understand the sentiment but, … these are guilds who in the course of ONE DAY went from “we’ll never leave” to being gone the next morning. Make of that what you will.

I know exactly what you mean, but that went out to my friends not those that promised to stay and left the same day lol.

I wish every one in DH only good, and I personally do apologize for leaving, we left to be competitive and with the other guilds leaving it was looking very bleak

RE is on Kaineng now, I do hope one day we may be back, but that is not my call. Again wish you all best of luck, and on a side note, I deeply apologize for loosing my composure and patience in team chat.

As far as I know he’s left the game; we haven’t seen him for about 2 months.

I am curious to see if the 3rd generation of Darkhaven WvW guilds can overcome the main structural problem the server faces.

Generation 1 left mostly due to what was perceived as lack of late-night numbers.

Generation 2 left mostly(different guilds say different things, but this was the root cause) due to what was perceived as lack of late-night numbers.

Generation 3 is in the rebuilding process.

I’m rooting for you guys, but having gone through the process twice on Darkhaven, beware, it is a long painful slog, and if you don’t get a solid oceanic presence the server will collapse again in a few months.

As much as I appreciate your sentiments for DH, your whole post is negative in essence Cali. We know what we lack and, we’re doing our very best to rebuild this server while trying to get more people to join us. Voicing doom & gloom about DH in a recruiting thread isn’t productive to our cause.

As for Everlasting Abyss guild – you guys rock! Seeing +20 guild members last night running around capping camps and taking keeps was just… I LOVE YOU GUYS!

I can’t think of a better way to tell NA players on an NA server that their time and effort in wvw is meaningless than this.

Thier efforts are not meaningless, DH has been an awesome primetime server in the past, one the the best actually.

The only thing DH has ever lacked was a solid night time presence. With Seal not playing anymore there is very little night time presence. A night time presence is needed for T5 and up, yall know this yall have been there before in DH. He’s not saying anything bad about it, he’s just saying a night time presence is needed.

Firstly, this should probably be in the world recruitment forum. Secondly I wish you the best in your rebuilding process, DR lost most the majority of our WvW guilds a month or two before the start of the season. I will, however, QQ whenever you rock my face with the map limit zergs I saw Oct 12-19.

Just to point out, this thread is 9 months old and some guy necro’d it in what looks like an attempt to start up dramatics.

Ignore/close/whatever.

Darkhaven is fine, we are having a blast training our LOYAL pve’rs and they are learning quickly. Darkhaven is very colorful now with all the legendaries floating on the map – and much friendlier than when we had the bandwagon guilds on it.

Sigh, I was taken in… tricked… fooled. You cads. I’ll leave my post for posterity but you’ve my apologies.
