just remove them from the wvw.
ppl are able to sit there whole night and spam.
its not funny,its not skilled,its not interesting,its only annoing.
just remove them.

If you can’t avoid the cannon while fighting, then don’t fight in the cannon range. It’s pretty easy, cannon user is stuck on a wall and has a finite range, you are not.

Cannon is just another death trap for aoe spam. If you’re shooting at any decent sized group with a cannon you’re putting your life on the line unless it’s an upper sm cannon.

You’ll likely need max 10k hp and no dodges and no armour and no damage reduction or invulnerabilities going on and no allies in the area to rez you. If you can provide a video showing someone who isn’t a total scrub managing to forget to bring all that to combat and managing to die to a cannon…. Then we’ll listen to you.

Sounds as if OP faces german servers all the time. If there is one thing theyre pro at, it will be sitting on a cannon/ac all day.

The only cases where cannon manages to kill people is when those people are already in a fight with other people… and if they run into cannon range during a fight it’s their own fault.

Also inbe4 OP says “cannon camper fanbois”: I don’t sit on cannons, it’s not a reward, because you know what? Going out there and fighting is a lot more fun than sitting on a cannon.

Tower canons in home BLs are at very risky places for defenders, with very limited angles you can shoot at enemies. The only asset to defender is their role to shoot at people already in combat. I am pretty sure I can’t kill a person with the canon if they just try to run by or close in (with max Canon mastery + siege master).

i think walls should be removed as well, i like to keep walking forward but the walls stop me, can walls be removed?

i don’t have a vid, but i remember about a month ago i caught 3 people who HAD to be totally new to WvW trying to attack a tower on one of the DBLs… i know they had to be new, because… i killed ALL THREE OF THEM… WITH A CANNON. i srsly could not believe it. i was expecting them to run away. O.o
