I am glad that they are going to refund, I spent a few before the AC buff and I don’t find myself on siege much. Maybe I’ll just go all out guard killer and cap camps by myself.
It’s great they refunded, now I can spend all my points in AC instead, and get the awesome radius trait

After testing the range I decided I would keep AC mastery and get the last tier with the refund. The idea of that skill is great but 60 sec cooldown?!? Is it me or it is weak for something that cost 25 point?

I tossed all of my skill points back into the arrow cart mastery. Oh? What’s this? You can’t outrange ballistas anymore? Well boohoo! It’s still -the- defensive siege weapon, able to rain death on anyone that even thinks of ramming that gate, and its potential bag generating capacity is only outdone by a superior ballista inside Stonemist.
As for those NPC traits, I don’t really find myself trying to solo towers that often, so…

1 extra supply for 20wxp points is not worthwhile. That supply capicity should be the last thing you level 300wp for 5 extra supply.

every 5 people carrying 12 supply = 1 extra person. Its 2 pieces of siege speed built instead of one. Cumulative value my friend. It all comes down to how you run your squad.
it also can save the day on build sites that get hit during construction. For precisely planned operations a 2 supply buffer could mean success or failure.

The cost for extra supply capicity is to high, would have prefered they dubble all other cost and lowered supply capicity cost to around what AC mastery would be after dubble, So 10-20-30-50-70.
Supply is very important in WvW but they have made it totally overpriced in relation to the other skill…

I picked defense against guards since i like to solo camps.
AC’s are still by far the best line.
Supply is good but too expensive.

As a solo roamer I am upgrading guard killer first. I’m up to the second last one (10% damage). After that, Ill probably opt to fully upgrade defence against guards. Undecided after that, they need to integrate more. Ill be keen to see what they add to the end of mercenarys bane.

You do know that that would work as counterproductive as what they tried with the AC’s. If everyone in a 25 or bigger zerg has that, than they just become better at killing again. Yet another reason to blob.
It was a funny suggestion though, if it were meant as a joke. I only commented on it because somebody needs to explain ANet that stuff like this doesn’t work or we’ll get another AC debacle, (that still hasn’t been fixed yet).

It was change from 25 Vitality per stack to 50. So I would think its 250 + Vit with all 5 stacks.
I was maxed in arrow cart b4 patch and had supply up to +2, but with reset I decided to just take up to the radius in AC and go with the defense guards. Love the 10s retal buff already when it activated on fighting guards and was fighting some players in the camp as well. Just need few more levels to max it out and get the vitality stacks.
The arrow cart final buff was ok but with a 60s cooldown and only 8 sec reveal on stealth didn’t find a whole lot of benefit from it prior to the patch, so although it is still good I decided to spend the extra 25 points towards maxing defense guards this time.

It changed from 20 per stack to 50 per stack in yesterday’s patch. No mention in the patch notes. Intended? Maybe. It’s not like 100 world rank levels is nothing, and 250 Vit is not necessarily OP, particularly when you lose the stacks upon death. Plus everyone has access to it.

Maybe, didn’t really notice. Then again the times I used it most of the time I was behind the door. Didn’t really see much damage other than from the 1-3 skills. Maybe I was missing when I used it prior to patch? Dunno
But yea for the 25 extra points I just rather put it into Defense Guards, since it makes me very close to maxing that for the vitality stacks. I’ll probably get the final AC afterwards again. Just wasn’t overly thrilled with it when I had it last time.

If it actually does give 5 stacks of 50 vit for +2500 HP it is extremely overpowered. WvW bonuses should not give stat boosts.

How long is the poison duration of the final skill for AC mastery?
And does Lotus Poison proc for thieves?

Nope, not anymore. Traits no longer proc on siege. Lotus poison used to work on trebs like leg specialist did on AC’s.

I was so happy i could finaly reeset mny traits so i could spec.. inAC lolz. Ballista 3 and higher are just plain useless.
