I didn’t even notice that, but I would consider that an issue.
IMO it’d make a map more empty.

I always did wish killing the mobs and using the nods help in wvw points. It be a sorta clearing and collecting point.
There ARE nodes for all kinds of resources in the new map, contained within the keeps/towers/camps. I think they were called Synthesizers. An ore Synthesizer could give you all different kinds of ore.
They were removed sometime yesterday because apparently they were bugged/exploitable.

Ah, ok. I missed that one in my abject Super Unexcitement™. That’s clearly a case of wasting time fixing what isn’t broken. But good on you, Anet… have fun with your job. I can’t fault you there. Doesn’t mean I’ll agree with dollars.

Yes some of them worked fine, but others did not. So nodes had crowds of people next to them taking advantage of a minute or so respawn, so makes sense they disabled them rather than risk the games economy further.. Overall I must say I really like the new nodes vs the old ones. I find my self stopping more for gathering in wvw because there’s a chance of getting more valuable resources with every node, including bulk herbs

Yea I saw these new nodes at camps and inside towers. They seem to work now and give you random mats from each one..
Since I can’t create any threads, is anyone seeing loot bags still on the ground after you loot them? Basically seeing loot bags all over but can’t loot them?
