Would it be against the game rules to create a guild to gank kill people in Obisidian Sanctum? Like that map is part of wvw and as a pvp map there is nothing saying you cant kill an enemy even if they are in a gvg. My friend was thinking in create a guild full of troll specs like perma stealth thieves that no matter how many you bring we would be able to interrupt fights, get kills and troll around the fights.

Is there already any guild like this in the game?

Man, people in wvw are not even close to the avarage spvp player. Also if you can wait the time when both servers start fighting and jump in the mid will stop the fights anyway. Even with 1 or 2 players would be enough to inbalance the fights and make everyone reset all the time. If you die you can respawn and come back in less than 1 minute

There’s guild dedicated to trolls and such in OS. I sometimes go there to farm them, since they all terribly suck for some reason.

That really depends. Killing people in the Obsidian Sanctum isn’t against the rules, but harassing people in general is.

That won’t work on an organised guild. They’ll kick you around like a rag doll and then stomp on your face.

There are plenty of guilds that do this to camps in WvW. My suggestion is to find a guild like that and troll a camp. You will get run down eventually but not before you bag a few dozen kills.

I think he actually want to troll GvGs and not simply farm people.

I presume this is by design — with new trait system more users might wander into OS and then get wiped by trolls/spawn campers so they never come back to wvw (maybe to finish map exploration while suffering greatly)

Back before s1 I made a guild so the enemy servers would know who to fight and who to leave alone (maybe)

Let’s put it this way.

It is not against the rules to kill mobs or critters in PvE.
This has not stopped people from being punished for intentionally being pests to another person while doing it.

Its not illegal, os is an open area for people to fight..for some stupid reason. But yea Ive seen a few troll guilds who do this. Its not illegal but incredibly crappy of you and them, especially since its tied to a trait unlock now…again not sure why…anet….

Yes, OP, you should totally do that. And maybe once you get reported enough times, you will get banned and this game will become a lot better for it.

It’s quite sad to kill people who are 1v1’ing in OS. Just leave them .

You can however kill people in the JP,but just don t do it in the Arena. It’s annoying if people are trying to kill you.

The fun part with the OP in this thread, is that he thinks he’s the first to think of it!

GvG guilds will easily take care of the fly in the soup.
