Nothing. We will have the celebration and Anet will hint at some obscure part of the LS that connects to the main story. The hint will be interesting but it wont do much in the way of actually giving us pertinent information about what is going on in the grand scheme of things. Two weeks later rinse wash and repeat.

It’d be nice if you could take an active role in whatever happens this time. I mean before it was lionguard business but you do have an active role in kryta if you’re a human and being a personal friend of logan/destiny’s edge.

something interesting better happen, and soon. I’m getting tired of jumping through hoops, carrying crystals, and any other mini game they throw at us. Seems like the mini game department is working overtime and the writers are slacking off – crack that whip!

Queen Jennah will have a wardrobe malfunction (I mean really, just look at that gown!), and then the new robotic queen’s guard will kill all the members of the audience that “looked.”

Well seeing Braham and Rox in the concept art tells me another interconnected short story of a set-up to earn favor/trust. Probably covering up what happened down in the great collapse. Then off to track down the evil fiend responsible. It would actually be pretty hilarious if they frame Logan for something.

well the Bazaar hasn’t had any hiccups, but I get your meaning.
What I hope for is more Aetherblades. They drop in, try to kidnap the queen, and we… let them, and elect Anise as our ruler.

Though since Anise is member of the Shining Blade she’ll no doubt ask us to bring back the Queen. I’ll do it, but I’ll grumble about it, but it will be for Anise and not because I want the Queen back.

That’s what I’m expecting too. I doubt the Shining Blade will be happy with those mechanical bodyguards, and they look a bit like the kind of steam technology we saw in the Artherblades.

He runs to Jennah. So for the same events to repeat, he would need to tell her he’s about to take on an Elder Dragon with his team and Jennah would have some kind of personal emergency which causes her to ignore the mission she knows he’s on and call him back to her side.

Same. I expect Scarlet either provides or sabotages these new clockwork bodyguards, they attempt to kill the Queen, and we have to fight them off.

And perhaps the Asura will take heed and start inspecting their golems for possible sabotage too.

Queen Jennahs feet will be too dirty to attend her Jubilee and it will kick off the new Crafting changes mentioned in the blog, players having to pitch it to craft the perfect pair of shoes for Queen Jennah.

The attack of the giant rats that the Shining Blade guards say that do not live in the sewers. The Queen’s dogs know nothing about sewers, giant rats and I bet they also know nothing about mutant ninja turtles that happen to also be teenagers and have the names of famous artists (It is the former Art District, after all).

Yeah it’s probably going to be this. In fact we’ll just constantly have more of this villain of the month bull which will all point towards the same MYSTERIOUS mastermind for a couple more months followed by the BIG REVEAL after everyone stopped caring about this terrible excuse plot.

It’s pretty obvious and really funny you guys don’t understand what will happen. . . she is no longer seeing Logan but plottwist is now into our hero (female or male regardless) and Logan is pretty upset so he hires Tyria’s most cunning Skritt assassins (they are skilled skritt assassins only when together so he couldn’t hire just 1).

My guess would be the citizens of Divinity’s Reach revolt because of the Queen’s extravagant spending of throwing herself a 10 year jubilee, which they deem excessive and self congratulatory, since a monarch’s rule isn’t usually celebrated with a jubilee till their 25th year as ruler. Typical politician spending taxpayers’ money willy nilly.

She comes in with a grand illusion, making hundreds of copies of herself, which in turn makes all the clockwork guards short circuit so they run off all around Kryta to look for the Queen, attacking anything in their way.

CM story mode. Did you really buy Caudecus’s story that he was innocent. I say he was behind it all. Uzolan has his fingers in the watchwork thingies and they will go berserk at the worst possible moment.

She will teach mesmers how to make a forth clone.

Very unlikely that they will be ordered by Caudecus. The Queen and her entourage know he is after her fall from grace. They’re not that stupid to surround the queen with his machinations.

If anything these things must have been made by someone in whom they trust a whole lot.

I hope that the soldiers dont end up malfunctioning. I feel like we’re seeing that too much. Tixx’s workshop, holograms, and now the queen’s new soldiers. It’s getting kind of overdone.

I came back from a long break at the very end of the dragon bash so the holograms might not have been some machine that malfunctioned but from a person who came in after a few months with no prior knowledge, that’s what it looked like.

I hope we start seeing older characters from the personal story, like seeing riot alice in divinity’s reach.

I think it’ll be some kind of robopocalypse, with something going wrong with the watchwork guard/things.

The holograms didn’t malfunction, not that I know of. They were supposed to be like that. Tixx’s stuff did malfunction though.

She’s gonna die. It’s kind of obvious. And with her, the balance of power is flipped. Completely.

If Kiel wins, we’re all gonna be nuclear toast; if Evon wins, we’re gonna all be deity toast. In the end, we’re toast. The only thing that is up to you is how we are to be baked. If this choice matters to you, vote.

I’d actually like to see Queen Jennah die. Not because I dislike her, but because the game has been sorely lacking in tragedies for quite some time now that the personal story is behind us. It wouldn’t be in the same league as seeing Ascalon be destroyed back in the original game, but it’d be a step in the right direction as far as I’m concerned.

The story is becoming very predictable at this point and I’d hate to see another case of danger being thwarted.

Reminds me of a line from an old 50s science fiction movie, The Thing From Another World.

The ‘thing’ in that movie was a humanoid carrot. Do we have anything like a humanoid carrot in GW2? Hmm…
