Scarlet is really Jennah’s emo sister, jealous of her popularity and Logan’s attention for Jennah. Her way of acting out is to write threatening poetry about Jennah, and fan-fiction about Logan. The final conclusion is Rytlock is brought in to baby-sit where they both bond over their feelings for Logan.
It was mentioned off-hand by the Whispers rep in the human personal story that Jenna may not be the only person with claim to the Krytan throne. Not sure if it’s Scarlet… but who knows, the leaves could just be an illusion…
Or it could be the Sylvari isn’t Scarlet but one of her cronies acting on her behalf. If she is indeed of royal blood than it stands to reason she wouldn’t risk her life on making a public appearance, yet anyways, so she would most likely send another lieutenant or minion. This is Villainy 101 protocol.

Having Livia nicknamed Scarlet would actually make a lot of sense, given her hair and tendency toward that color (as seen in GW). Then, the question would be how/why she got involved with the Aetherblades, since they seem to be the enemy of choice.
Since she was a royal advisor/guard in the Sea of Sorrows book, she definitely has connections with the Krytan throne.
Perhaps we’ll find out that the Aetherblades have a legitimate reason for attacking. If, for example, Minister Caudecus placed an imposter Jennah on the throne, and the players have been defending the wrong queen. The “queen’s” mysterious announcement could be naming Caudecus as her heir, at which point chaos breaks out.
An attempted coup using an imposter Jennah would also help explain the existence of the watchwork knights, as they are extremely suspicious.
After mowing them down for weeks, will we actually team up with the Aetherblades? :o

Not just that, she was the CAPTAIN of the Shining Blade, protectors of the Krytan Royal Bloodline. So it’s fairly unlikely she is going against a queen who, despite fairly questionable choices of money-spending, is beloved by the people and firm in rule. Unless she went full Lich-Crazy.

Your a child trying to play with the big kids. If you have something up your sleeve then just say it. Do not make Rymes or say your playing games. As that is what kids do. If you want to Remove the Queen from Power than do it bluntly as that marks you as more than a child. The Queen already knows the Nobles like myself do not want her in power. We openly say we rather have a man on the throne than a female. So child before you speak again. Knock off the jokes as that makes you look like a fool more than anything.

I would look elsewhere for the true identity of Scarlet. None the less I would like to see a GW2 version of arguably the most dangerous, sultry and smoldering female of GW1.

It would explain all her time references in the riddle, and why she teleports all over the place without the mesmer butterflies.

Bring the hole back and while your at it make sure to summon the Mad King out of it cause hes the only non joke of a bad guy I ran into even with the candy corn, plastic spiders etc. he still FAR scarier then a bunch charr playing with matches, moles, 3D monsters and battery operated pirates with some chi-pet tree pirate leading them.

let there be chaos and misery once more upon this world so that these mortal little cowards and their so called heroes (a Human lawful zealot, a half-a-Salad necro-not-mancer with his fancy sword and that Ham of Norn Brohood) fall to their knees and beg for a quick and painless death so that another fake “god” of “truth” doesnt happen and so that true adventure, challenge (not some insects that stop fun with our eyes or ground) and really epic loot come for those who seek it!

We are assuming that was in fact actually the Queen and not an illusion of her. She’s supposed to be an extremely powerful mesmer, so I kind of doubt she will just die like it’s nothing, and that she doesn’t utilize her abilities when necessary.

Oh I never implied she will die, just she will be saved by Logan or her guards. Yes she can conjure illusions, but illusions effectiveness depends on the willpower of the target in lore. If the illusion is seen through the illusionist is in trouble. Against the Dragonband she needed Logan’s protection, so it stands to reason that without someone taking the blows for her while she casts she will crumble quite easy as most spellcasters.

I’m so sorry about your breakup with Trahearne. I know it was rough. We all know he was away “Saving the World” (or so he says) all the time, but we also know he was really just finding excuses to hang out with Eir. Not only that, Jennah and Logan conspired to help him hide things from you!
