Conjured Weapons: proposed buff

Well people are talking about two different instances, in the old days eles could use Firery Great Sword 4 without a target to spawn numerous aoes which could tick for insane amounts of damage. This was ultimately nerfed for all game modes due to the fact that anet found out how players could use it get an instant lord kill in pvp.
Edit:They promised a buff but never buffed it just the tool tip*
As for the others…
Currently they haven’t been nerfed, we don’t know what they plan on doing to Ice bow or Lightning hammer but we know they plan to nerf/change them.
And as far as I have heard they are going to be nerfed game wide due to the uses they have in the new game mode strong hold, since to win at this pvp mode you have to pve, conjures are naturally great along a whole chunk of other ele skills. If this is true I personally will have no faith in anet anymore, in that they are so lazy at balance that they will nuke entire class skills because of one mode for all modes.

Just a few suggestions:
General
- Instant cast when equipping them (like engineer kits)
- Time limit removed, limit on charges can stay
Agreed here. Conjures have enough drawbacks in general.
Utilities
- Flame axe, Earth Shield, Lightning Hammer need a buff in utility, only Frost Bow from the utility skills is in a really good spot right now (they don’t need to nerf Frost Bow, I play against eles often and I never had a problem with these).
Lightning Hammer is kinda perfect the way it is now, dunno what you’re talking about there. Flame Axe could use some tweaking, and Earth Shield is in desperate need of a makeover.
Elite
- Make FGS a real elite: it’s nowhere near as powerful as Guardian’s Tome of Courage/ Renewed Focus, Engineer’s Supply Crate, Necro’s Lich Form, Thief’s Basilisk Venom(really strong for having such a small cooldown).
Let’s start with the Fiery Rush leap doing the damage it’s supposed to.
remove the cooldown on them and make them like kits, fine tune some cooldowns on the weapons.
conjurer trait moved to master (one with fire moved to adept) and changed to:
- reduce cooldowns on conjure weaponskills by 20%
- *optional (if you switch to a conjure weapon you will summon a time/charges limited version of it next to you. allies can pick it up) ICD for the current cooldown of the weapon.
- gain an aura based on the conjure weapon you switch to. 40s ICD
hammer – shocking aura
axe – fire aura
bow – frost aura
shield – magnetic aura
fgs – light aura (double fire aura would be lame)
as for one with fire:
change it to: fire auras longer, might when applied, using signets grants fire aura.

What if change one skill in each axe, bow, shield and lh for Aura Feedback? – projectile that you instantly shoot on targeted ally – grants aura equal to weapon.

Mhmm I’m kinda aiming at PvP with the hammer statement. I have not seen anyone running lightning hammer (or fiery axe/earth shield for that matter) in PvP since like 2013. It is not a viable utility compared to using cantrips. I might be wrong though and just never see elementalists using them. ;P
And yeah Fiery Rush could use a buff. And #5 should maybe just be made into a fire field which applies a medium duration burn.

My experience with LH in PvP hasn’t been nearly as successful as PvE and WvW, but it does have its uses. I’ve found that in the heat of battle, the casting time for the hammer is a huge liability. What would help a lot is if all conjures had an “on cast” effect; FGS already damages and burns foes when it lands; LH should do a daze at its conjuring location, FB a chill, LA a burning fire field, and ES a knockback. And I don’t see why FGS’s impact can’t be a Blast Finisher. One extra blast every three minutes isn’t going to break the game.

on cast effect agree, but I would like them to come up with creative on cast effect, any ideas for something fresh?
