There are quite a few posts about rerolling and quitting throughout the thread. Yes tempest adds nothing to the class but the class is still amazing. Wish I chose to main elementalist instead of having it as an alt.

There are quite a few posts about rerolling and quitting throughout the thread. Yes tempest adds nothing to the class but the class is still amazing. Wish I chose to main elementalist instead of having it as an alt.

The rerolling is mostly because we’ll still be stuck playing Water+ Arcane + 3x Cantrips and the Tempest doesn’t change that at all. Other classes are doing nothing but growing and the Elementalist is just doing the same old thing and will continue to do so if nothing is changed(and my hopes of said change are just completely gone).

Even if ele is still a good class, after 3 years of dd+water+arcane+cantrips, it gets really boring. And there is nothing else for ele if you want to be competitive.

Because it’s true. All my trait lines have a purpose, and all of them synchronise and have great damage modifiers. Tempest doesn’t offer the same bonuses. It does offer me something new (overloads), but at the cost of a much weaker trait line. I know what I’d rather choose! I’m sticking to my current setup tyvm. The only thing I’ll be using from the specialisation is that Tempest shoulder skin – that’s about it.
