Elementalist elites seem lackluster
Im not the only one who thinks this, its all over the elementalist forums
i’m still trying to work out my Ele and i’m finding fire is the only thing that can seem to damage properly, or having a even build/traits and switching during combat but seems to be bad in alot of situations. I think i just need give it more time and get better.
Speaking as someone who plays a necromancer, at least you guys have a working class. The necromancer is so screwed up right now its baffling to me how anyone can even call this “class” a class.
Just as an example, I picked up a Fiery Greatsword the other day that some passing by Elementalist dropped in front of me. I was completely floored as to how much more damage that thing was doing compared to my condition build (the ONLY viable build necromancers even have) that I was fully traited and geared for. I was mowing through groups of mobs like mulch in a wood chipper. To say the least, I was disappointed when the weapon ran out of charges.

I also think the elite skills are lackluster. In GW1 an elite skill felt ELITE. Not so much in GW2.
->Kravik: Are you in PvE or PvP? What level are you? I find that my support Well build works wonders in parties. When I’m not in a group I either run minions or a DS/Dagger build and its really fun. I haven’t touched condition builds since I was level 20.
:(
I agree, especially if you’re human since I don’t like the human elites either.

the charr elites are a bazooka which is worse than the firey greatsword in every way. And a warband call which is just a crappier version of the elemental elite (it calls 2 units to help out, but they both have so little health, and deal so little damage. Also a longer cooldown)
the Tornado is a god send in sPvP…..the knockback will help you keep a node until help arrives
