When they made the change that it can hit AOE I assumed that ICD will trigger per target basis.

I made some test in the mist, I have a feeling ICD triggers per activation basis not per target basis.

What I mean, you used Drake’s Breath and hit 3 persons on the same moment, they are all blinded and ICD initiated now if you hit somebody you previously didn’t hit 2s later, blinding ashes will not trigger because ICD is still global and not per target basis.

Can anybody confirm this? Unless they change this to per target basis it will stay as awesome 1vs1 gimmick and useless GM trait.

Pretty sure if you hit drake’s breath and burned 3 people, it would blind one of them, and then the ICD procs

I had always wondered about it too and as far as I have tested/ played with Blinding Ashes trait so far, i’m pretty sure your assumption is correct! If it burned 3 people with Drake’s Breath, all 3 will get blinded but the ICD will trigger according to it’s activating timing and not per target basis. I would also like to get a good confirmation on this though. :-)

Skills that burn multiple targets simultaneously, like drakes breath or flame burst, will blind all the targets that they hit then the trait will go on CD. Skills that have the potential to burn multiple targets but not necessarily at the same time, like flame wall or ring of fire, will blind the first target that was burned then the trait will go on CD.
