Offensive staff ele spvp
The first and most important thing you should know about offensive staff-ele: you can’t win any 1v1 against skilled players. You will wreck enemies in team-fights but you’re useless when alone. So you can only fulfill the role of a roamer. That’s why you need a bunker that can hold your points while you can cast from a safe distance.
Second thing you have to learn is positioning. Never stand in the middle of the fight, stay away as far as possible – once you’re fokused: run or you’re dead.
Third: Learn to use your CCs effectively. Especially the lightning-field will help you to land lava fonts or chanel your meteor showers. Other CCs like earth 4 and 5 are too short and clumsy to use them for landing damage-spells. I usually keep them for defense, kiting and running away.
Last but not least: never go full zerk when there’s a thief in the enemy team.

Utilities, heal and amulett vary depending on enemy team composition.
For beginners I’d recommend a more defensive build though. Something like this:

I used to run exactly this (except celestial amulet, since I don’t really like it). Try to get used to frost-bow. It’s a very powerful weapon even (or especially) for 1v1.

First off i’m far from the best elementalist out there… And thats why i need some help!
You see i’m trying to play the staff elementalist quite some time now. I tried supporting… Which is quite fun… But the issue is that i do absolutely no damage… So i tried offensive for quite some time now… And i get my face smashed ALL the time!
You see everytime i want to put down a combo the enemy escapes from it… Locks me into place… And bursts me down!
So do you guys have any serious advice for someone still learning the staff elementalist? Lieke builds/utilities to try out?
