It’s not that it’s high, its that if every meteor connects with 3 targets all with ret, that’s 72 instances of retaliation. (I think it is more of an issue) at an average of 350 a tick and a 33% reduction from pvp sources your looking at a solid 16k damage return.
Abillites like rapid fire and other instance ticking damage suffer from this to a degree, as does all aoe.
Its just how it works, they could possibly reduce it to only one instance of damage per meteor but they aren’t going to put forth the effort to code that for such a little thing.
Please skill/trait split and give control to the PvP team. Karl is fucking killing us
The way necro leech aura effect works now a lot of the retaliation dmg is mitigated. Its also a nice boots to ele pAoEs.
