Tempest Bug list
I tried the air overload and looked for interrupts. Yup, I get interrupt messages and I see mobs suddenly standing still at the edge of the overload field.
With Air Overload the thundercloud effect doesn’t show up for me more often than not.
Also, the shocking aura granted by this skill when taking Unstable Conduit seems to swap to being centred around your HAND instead of your BODY provided you’re using your auto attack from any Attunement with the staff while standing still.
Sand Squall – Applies blast finisher immediately upon activation, before skill is cast. This can be cancel-cast for a blast finisher on 5s CD.
Warhorn Bugs:
- Some warhorn skills still sounds like farts (I MEAN IT, FAAARTS): Fire #4, Water #5, Air #5, and Earth #5 – some of them have minor sound issues
- You cannot back-cast/side-cast Lightning Orb (only diagonal, and frontal); not sure if intended.
Thank you guys! Added them to the list (bug ones). I am not sure about the warhorn sounds.
Next to that I do not get what you mean with yours treetopkickster.
Cyclone is blockable, when tooltip shows its unblockable. it does however spam the skill on a person who’s blocking, filling up your screen with “Blocked” or stripping all blocks if stacks.

Fire overload does trigger multiple whirl finishers, just doesn’t show the text for it. You can aim the projectiles from the whirl upwards with the camera for better visibility, just like you can aim fireball etc.
Sand squall only shows the blast finisher text at start, the blast actually occurs at the end, like many other blast finishers work. It does give more protection than expected.
Is Sand Squall bug real? Has someone tested that WITHOUT Arcane spec? Because you know Arcane increases boon duration by 15% or something…
Yes, without arcana or food. Tooltip for protection says 2 seconds. I can imagine that gets extended by the listed 2 seconds for all boons as well, so the expected result would be 4 seconds. Instead it gives 7 seconds, which would mean a base duration of 5 seconds. 50% boon duration from a nearby revenant gave me a little over 9 seconds protection.

I’ve been rtesting it without any duration buffs or anything. Always got 7s. I hope it’s the tooltip thats wrong tho, and not the duration
Lucid singularity seems to heal you at the end of the overload (fire, air, earth). Here’s the pic with fire.
edit: it only heals allies, not yourself

Wauw that’s an odd one! It only happens when that trait is equipped?
Yeah I tracked down that it’s lucid singularity trait. Some googling showed it used to heal you while in channeling but that was a long time ago.
- Rebound : When used with a utility skill, it removes the rebound effect and not lower cooldown.
It also looked like the Rebound effect was being removed by #1 skill autoattacks which don’t have any cooldown to reduce.

Yeah I can confirm it was that trait. It also gives a better amount of healing at overload end than the combination for auramancer Unstable conduit + Element bastion.
I can confirm the aftershock bug with earth overload, I’ve tested it a dozen times.
The immobilize durations do not stack, Aftershock removes the immob of Overload Earth.
What’s the point of reporting bugs?
We’ve been telling them for over 3 years that, for example, Fire Aura is bugged and doesn’t give the 20% reduced condition duration that its tooltip states. Yet they didn’t fix the ability, they didn’t change the tooltip, they didn’t even acknowledge the bug.
Arenanet bugtracking is beyond awful.

Giving up before even trying is kinda low. Elite specs are of great importance for anet, even with all the negative feedback. Now we give them a list and its up to then if they use it or not.

Some of us have tried for 3 years though… and after 3 years of Anet thoroughly ignoring player feedback it gets kinda stale. Just look at the developer feedback we got from BWE1 (not even from our developer lol) and compare it to the feedback other classes get, even when not in beta.
Fresh Air does not work after overloading air.
I found that rebound works fine on utilities, but there’s a delay after casting the skill before the effect is applied, so that might be why your utilities are going on full CD.

I can’t retest it now, but I was consistently able to blast Water-5 with this ability, even if I was slow on swapping because it started applying the blast before the ability even fired off. Some might argue that is right, but it seemed like I was still getting the heal even though I was late with the ability.
