Currently Glyph of Elemental Power has a CD per attunement, allowing you to proc it in each element rather than one, making your attacks proc cripple, burning, weakness, and chill all at the same time.

As someone who has stubbornly played crappy condition builds since launch and only seen ANet make them worse in one crusade against meta builds after another, I think this change is awesome and am hoping its an undocumented or accidentally delivery update to the almost-never-used skill. But I know its probably not, so heads up Eles, enjoy it before they ‘fix’ it.

I tested and… The earth portion of the spell is not affected by the Inscription in any ways. Earth Cooldown stays at 45 sec (Instead of 36) and does not apply protection.

Also the fire grandmaster trait Pyromancer’s Puissance isn’t working either. There is no might on using a fire skill.

Thinking about it, wouldn’t glyphs be nice if they all functioned this way?

As is with the functionality slapped on, it’s op but maybe if they tweak some of their numbers, like in the case of GoEP, perhaps increase the cooldown of the individual glyphs to 60sec, or even higher would compensate for having 4 stun breaks in one while also counter balancing the fact GoEP is more used preemptively rather than to react to cc.

For the heal, if the cat time was reverted and the cooldown slightly increased, I think that could cover that.

I would be easier for them to do it and would make more sense. I say they just take away most of the trait lines and leave water tempest and arcane.

Well even not sharing cd, all four versions still share the effect recharge. So it means if you have all four active you will inflict 1 random condition from these four every 5+ sec and not 4 conditions every 5+ sec (at least it looks like it works this way, at least for me) So this part is not completely op.
But the ×4 stunbreak is really good, I love it! I hope it will remain here for a while…
Btw did you notice that bug when you have Glyph of Renewal equipped (probably not, because nobody uses it) and you use GoEP, the 1st one goes on full cooldown? (Except in air att)

I am lazy to write it over and over. So sorry for my English.

When I saw this, I was so pleased to see they did something nice with glyphs. The 4 stun breakers it provided was so amazing! With Runes of the Tempest it provided some nice healing as well. I really wish they left this “bug” untouched. Great benefit to have when getting stun-locked by most of the other classes out there. I hope they implement this back in, because I would actually start running my build around glyphs.

It was good while it lasted, and I’m with you. That bug made the Ele feel more balanced now that we don’t have good survivability. With it I could clean the hard CC the other classes have by bunch.
