Q:
So, maybe I’m wrong about this so someone please feel free to correct me but what exactly is the point behind Burn Duration? I’ve been testing it out with 2 runes from each of the 3 (there’s actually 4) +duration Burn runes in conjunction with the +20% duration trait giving me a +65% Burn Duration and I can’t see any change at all.
I mean in damage. Oh, the “debuff” icon lasts longer, there is no doubt about that however it doesn’t actually tick more than it originally does without the +duration. I’ve tested this with the Rocket and Flame Turret as well as 4 and auto attack burn from Flamethrower. You don’t get any more ticks of damage; the “debuff” icon just lasts longer.
Sooo… is there a point that I’m missing or what?

Also, Rifled Turret Barrels doesn’t effect condition damage from turrets. I’m not sure if that’s intended or not. Seems kind of lame for a tier 3 trait if you ask me.
It does tic more and longer. You have to have the right amount of condition duration based upon the duration of the particular ability.
For example, if you have an ability that that cast a 2 second burn you need +50% burn duration to add one more tic. If you have an ability that gives 4s burn, you only need to hit +25% burn duration for an extra tic and the same 50% duration addition would add 2 tics.
In other words the durations addition is directly related to the base duration on the ability itself.
The Burn duration trait is bugged/broken along with most every other + condition duration thing in the game except for sigils and the trait line attribute.
Personally I can’t believe these traits/runes/whatever haven’t been fixed yet as it’s a detrimental stat used to help define multiple profession builds : /
Edit: Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, because I know there’s some tooltip errors and the like but my testings have shown no additional damage ticks.
