Cleansing Burst no 15 sec CD?

After the Tuesday changes, Cleansing Burst only seems to activate once on turret deployment and never again. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? If so, I feel heal turret should be reverted back to its old functionality. I don’t always want to waist my condition removal on turret deployment (if I have no conditions on me).
Base condi removal, imo, should come from the alchemy line (HGH ftw), not your healing turret. Like most classes/builds over time, you get nerfed and you must adapt. Either change your traits or utilities or sigil/runes. So many engis are so attached to healing turret, its kinda sad, especially where there are possibly better options based on your playstyles.

AED, too situational, no included condi removal unlike healing turret. Very unreliable,
Supply crate? Are you kittening kidding me? It does not heal directly, but with healkits, which positioning is bugged as hell and too situational, can be picked up by others and a cd of 60 seconds, but I give you that. Engineer just has useless garbage as elites, so it won’t really matter to take Supply Crate, since you are not really loosing anything important.
Supply Crate toolbelt skill aoe heals condi now, but it’s still on a very long cooldown. You wouldn’t rely on that as your condi cleanse in a fight.
AED – situational, cooldown too long, cast time too high
Purge Gyro – requires scrapper
So your condi cleanse options (for base engi) are limited to a single build style (elixirs) or the (now broken) healing turret.

Was that only before they removed the daze on destruction?
The problem with skills like purge gyro, elixir c and elixir r is that they dont have enough (non niche) other utilities to justify wasting a precious utility slot on them, but that is just my opinion concerning the things I plan to do. (not pvp)
The clunky Med kit also removes condies.

no, purge has been really good since … well, since they took out soldier amulet and durability runes and since then engi has needed to dedicate other things to dealing with condis. it hasnt fallen out of favor as far as im aware, except situationally when you arent fighting condi builds like at all in a game, and then its spot goes to blast gyro or maybe slick shoes (that nerf tho).

We only use healing turret because we only have one other choice. And that got batted in the kneecaps. Which pretty much happened to any other heal that was situationaly useful.
And I’m pretty sure everyone that’s played this class is pretty familiar with alchemy, most likely being forced into using it for the last…. 4 years?

Gyros require scrapper, so why wasting a utility slot for something the healing turret already do? And you forget, gyros movement is bugged as hell, and they are thin as paper against the not so uncommen aoe’s in pve.
Both the purge gyro’s and the healing turrets toolbelt suck imo.

You asked for skill examples. I provided those. Just because they’re situational doesn’t change the fact that they remove conditions.

from this statement i dont think you have tried purge gyro in the situation where its good. please try it if you can tolerate pvp.

Thank you everyone, I’ll try purge gyro. Just been using healing turret for years, was an extremely useful skill.
I will still take Healing Turret post patch.
Purge Gyro is great for Scrapper. If you are having trouble with condi and want to stay base Engi, try Elixir C. It is a great utility & toolbelt skill.
