Engineers and signets
Sure why not, turrets aren’t passive enough. Lets have builds where you literally don’t hit anything but 1.
Chances are engineer may not even have utility spaces for things like signet.
The kits , turrets, elixer already occupy too many spots of engineer’s utility spots.
Many other classes choose signets mostly because they have nothing better to bring on table on some situation. (Eg. the current ranger in outdoor pve content)
I’m not thinking as getting more utility skills
Rather, change the way gadgets or elixirs work and perhaps change them to the way signets work
That sounds like making the profession easier, I don’t want that. I always disliked passive stuff, for example the Healing Signet. It encourages you to NOT use it, what the hell is that for bullkitten?
It’s just and idea/ option
My keys can get a little stiff sometimes, so when a key locks up – something like this could help
Then again, I’m in need of new keyboard :P
Getting physiological enhancements to combat via stims or mechanical implants works well on the engineers behalf
Gadgets seem like they could get a passive buff, but I’m fine with them the way they are.
Having 2 actives instead of an active and a passive that preclude eachother is a good thing imo.
It might be interesting for there to be a trait that gives passive bonuses based on slotted, unused gadgets or Toolbelt skills; as every non-Elite skill the Engineer possesses is really two skills slotted simultaneously, it seems like a bad idea to take the Signet approach to any Engineer skillset. Warriors, though, do have a trait that gives a bonus based on unused, slotted Signets, which obviously shows that the code exists to do such a thing.
So: How about something like Gadgeteer or Experimental Turrets, except it works for unused Toolbelt Skills or unused, slotted Gadgets?
^ I like your thinking!!!
