HI first of english is not my native language so you know…Im a big fan of armor in every game i play i don’t play because the class is op etc, just because i like it and have the armor that i like, i know everybody have diferent taste of armor but can devs pls put a nice helm for engineers every helm is a goggles, aviator goggles , one eye goggle, small cowboy hat, big cowboy hat, you get the point, the armor are nice tho ecepcts the helms.
thats my opinion , im just saying it will be cool if they implemented a helm like the one on the tools trait line will be awsome or some helm like the light helm of sorrow embrace full covered robotic looking helm and for asuras pls dont show the ears it make it lose the touch of robotic looking. oh well thats my opinion just saying will be cool at least for engies . again sorry for my bad english and ty all take care

I completely agree with you. There arent enough engineer type head pieces. Id like more goggles or helms with a lil light on it or something

We lack steampunk gear, that’s it. The only one fitting of an engineer is Sorrow Embrace gear.

I agree with the OP: introduce some steampunk armor and some rocking goggles (like the ones of the tools trait or like the ones of the “utility goggles”). Here an example of what would be nice to see:

finally people that understand me XD yeah, we need helms like that, the one you put on the pic a full helm that covers nose , ears ,mouth like if you were on a suit or something, i sometimes envy light classes because of the sorrow embrace set for them they look more engineer than us !

I agree, I haven’t found a helm I like yet. I usually just keep the helm toggled off. My normal noggin looks better than any helm out there.

I know they are in the Gem Store, but Aetherblade and Magitech are the first skins that have really appealed to me as an Engi.

I actually like the Orr temple armor on my Engineer, and to a much lesser extent the Invaders.

I really miss Arcanum, BTW.

No you will wear a jacket and bandit mask and like it!

At least you can choose between trenchcoat and chest piece with a funny dress it at the back.

As an Asuran, specifically, I am very jealous of my light (And to a lesser extent heavy) armor wearing brethren.

I got a copy from GoG a while back and couldn’t get back into it.

Well the Asuran T3 Helm rocks (well the glass texture is ugly but aside from that it ‘s REALLY nice). Otherwhise for every other Race there ’s the Aetherblade and Magitech skin (don’t like them that much for my Asura).

But the Asuran T3 Helm is as Engineer as it could get, even if realy envy the Aetherblade light armor users. The whole armor would ’ve fitted the engineer way better then any Caster. That said, I dislike the Rest of the Asuran T3 it ’s just the Helm that ’s outstanding.

I got the Aetherblade skin and like it a lot on my Asuran. That combined with the aetherized pistol and aetherized shield is an awsome look!

I’ll add, I see a lot of Asura NPCs wearing armor and town clothes that wish we had access to as well.

Personally, I have mixed and matched things for my Asuran Engi. The T3 medium armor (And most of the other medium armor) was pretty disappointing to me (no particles, movement, makes you bald, etc…), so I plunked down the cash for Aetherblade and Magitech. Here is where I stand:

I like using the Ascalonian Leather armor with a p/s build. Not steampunk or anything, but it has an actual helmet instead of some kind of mask or hood, and it gives more of a soldier look than a lot of the other medium armors. It doesn’t look as good with p/p or rifle, I think the shield just bring something out in it that isn’t their without the shield.

I also picked up the Aetherblade armor (but kept my starter Eagle Eye headpiece) and it looks great! Splurged for a shield, too. I do think the pistol’s barrel is a bit long for an Asuran, so I kept Gearbore.

I’m hoping the watchwork stuff in the next patch is engineer-oriented. It certainly sounds like it could be.

lets just hope they bring some cool helm s0on the upcoming patchs !!!
