-well don’t take autotool installation. it doesn’t repair the turret that much
-you’re building condi, but rifle is a power weapon. use pistol/shield or pistol/pistol
-deadly mixtures doesn’t affect condition damage. it’s not good for a condi build
-your damage is quite low. find a way to get more damaging conditions in. all you have now are burning and small bleeds.

Horrible in any way. Bad synergies with a mix match of everything and nothing. Rifle, Condition Damage, Dire Gear, Turret-Longlivety-Traits. Care to explain what you actually INTENDED with such a kind of Build? Maybe I just don’t get it.

And no, you don’t even have access to Burning as the Rocket Turret had it’s Burning Condition been removed as of the Oct 15th Patch. Did you even try your own “Build”?

If you’re new to creating Builds go to Heart of the Mists (PvP). You can try almost every Build out there without leveling or investing ANY Gold. Of course you can ’t reach the maximum amount of stats and damage that are possible in PvE and mix match exotic combinations but testing the basic frame there is always possible.

Fight the NPC ’s (not the Golems). If you have even trouble beating them it ’s a good sign that your Build is not really viable. With the limit of it being sPvP focused of course … so it goes without saying that it ’s not the absolute point of messure for PvE / WvW focused Builds. Especially for more more advanced ones.

Personally, I start with what role I’d like to play, then choosing utilities that I like and have good synergy – then I think about gear last.

Honestly, your choice of utilities are best suited to support. You have stability toss, healing turret, elixir gun healing – all very support-y choices. Rocket Turret can definitely be useful for a defensive/support builds because it’ll do the same damage, even if your stats are very defensive.

Option #1 – You can totally build support and keep your utilities & weapon the same.

I’d gear to maximize your support healing, while having decent rifle & elixir gun (acid bomb) damage.

I would recommend a mix of Celestial & Clerics gear. You can throw in some Soldier’s depending on what HP you feel comfortable at. Don’t go below 20k, as a guideline.

Option #2 – You can pretty much go all out damage. I don’t recommend this because your Rocket Turret won’t scale with any offensive stats. You could have good rifle damage and good acid bombs. Your damage won’t be as good as Grenade or Static Discharge builds, but if these utilities are you style, like you’re saying, then this is probably how to get the most damage out of it.

OK what I want to do with this buy is mostly PvE and dungeons. I am going to use the elixir gun as my main weapon. And yes I am new at making builds.

Here’s how I make a build.

1) Pick a Role
Roles are direct damage, condition damage, bunkering, control and pure support. (Note: Almost all non pure-support builds have some support elements)

2) Pick a Primary Theme, based on Role
Primary themes are your means of filling your role. This is where you will dump a lot of traits. Most often, the theme will be a kit.
Direct Damage Themes:
-Rifle (Not Recommended as standalone, but good with others)
-Bomb Kit (Reduced Effectiveness in WvW or PvP)
-Grenade Kit
-Flamethrower
-Toolkit (Not Recommended)
-Static Discharge (Not possible as a standalone)
Condition Damage Themes:
-Pistol(s) (Not Recommended as standalone, but acceptable with others)
-Flamethrower (Not Recommended)
-Grenade Kit
-Elixir Gun (Not Recommended)
Bunker Themes:
-Flamethrower
-Bomb Kit
-Tool Kit
-Shield (Not Recommended as standalone, but very good with others)
Control Themes
-Rifle (Not Recommended as standalone, but good with others)
-Shield (Not Recommended as standalone, but very good with others)
-Bomb Kit
-Tool Kit
-Turrets (Your Mileage May Vary)
Pure Support Themes:
-Bomb Kit
-Elixir Gun

3) Pick synergistic extra options
Chances are, you aren’t using all 3 utilities and all 70 trait points on your Primary Theme. Use the leftovers to grab things that might be useful to your build. For example, Control builds might like Throw Mine, and Direct Damage builds will love Elixir B.

4) Pick a gear choice that emphasizes your “good stats”.
Every role and major theme will scale with certain stats. Pick whichever gear choice seems to best fit those stats.

Here’s a build I just tossed together. It’s focusing on support, in particular healing. I decided to use the Elixir Gun because that’s what you indicated an interest in. I grabbed Healing Turret for the AoE heal, and as many blast finishers as I could for that AoE Water Field heal.

Elixir Gun is a great kit. But, no matter how you buff it, it’s just not a damage kit. That being said, it’s a wonderful support tool. Using it, Healing Turret, Pistol/Shield, you can set up a lot of healing and support. Bring along elixirs with 409 and Fumigate for aoe cleanses and tons of blast finishers on water fields for aoe heals. Stack a bit of condition damage & duration to boost the effectiveness of your pistol and EG’s blinds, confusions, poisons, and bleeds.

By reduced effectiveness, I mean that it’s far less likely to land hits with since targets can dodge, run away, and/or use ranged attacks.
