Saving function gyro?
There’s no way to stomp something without putting Function Gyro on cooldown as far as I know
Even when not selecting an enemy for me, the action on interact pops up: “Gyro-Smash him!” Maybe it’s a setting

I just tested this and it works. Don’t select the downed player (don’t have him targeted). Just walk near him and press F. You’ll be able to stomp without using the gyro. I’d imagine it’d also work the same for reviving.
You can do it quickly by just clicking randomly anywhere on the screen to de-target the downed body, or tab target to another player/object if avaliable, and then going for the stomp with F when within the downed player’s proximity.

Not selecting the downed player changes your stomp to a normal one
Thanks I just tried it and it seems to be correct that not selecting the downed player changes it to a normal stomp. However, there are times when you move near a downed player or someone goes down in function gyro’s range and even if they are not targeted you get the function gyro prompt.

hmm do you use autotarget? prolly not but thats the only thing i can think of that would override a lack of target selection :P
