FYI, you can ground target your grenades and mortar shells to avoid reflection. I do it all the time and score splash dmg against those who feel safe behind their walls. Orbital strike use to be powerful when you could cast it twice, but it’s still effective if you want to score a single burst shot from a distance.
I think FT is fine as it is. Since the perma stability buff Anet gave us, asking them to make changes to the FT will likely only result in them nerfing it. Best they stay away from it as FT is a comfortable PvE weapon that doesn’t require piano lessons. I’ve also used it from time to time in T1 zerg fights and I think ppl are blowing retaliation out of proportion as it’s something I rarely ever encounter. I’m more worried about necro wells melting the flesh off my bones than I am about retal.
Throw Mine would have been nice to utilize with the new Ammo Count system but I’m sure ArenaNet saw an issue with being unable to self-detonate the mine anymore.

have you tried gadgeteer throw mine? 2 mines is pretty good.
if only mine field mines got back the 60 range they lost when the explosive trait disappeared when specs were introduced.

Speaking of Throw Mine and Gadgeteer… when I have that utility equipped, and I switch to Gadgeteer, it’s showing less damage for the throw mine and no other changes. Wtf?
dunno but I’m getting double blasts, 2 white circles, etc etc so it’s working. maybe tooltip got missed. anet does that. maybe the 20% damage boost got missed. anet does that too.

I keep asking for them to fix the mine positioning for minefield but it’s been years now and they are still useless because we have no idea where they will popup.
