is there a good engi gvg build?
Yea going 6/4/0/2/2 with hammer #3 you’re gonna blow them away. Also make sure to use the utility skills, battle drones, automatic heal kit dispenser and the grenade kit. As elit i’d say you use the mortar kit.

Yea:-D I hope devs dont screw it up. After AED and never fixed gadgets I am bit afraid about where can that ends.

What do you consider “never fixed gadgets”? I didn’t know gadgets as a whole were broken. I have seen rocket boots and utility goggles used regularly since release. I now see very many using slick shoes. I even see PBR used on common enough occasion. They all function as intended to my knowledge.
I would hardly base your dislike of the cool downs and functionality of AED as an applicable bases to declare the entire utility set as “never fixed”.

Rocket Boots and Slick Shoes are the most popular, but when you start replacing kits, or god forbid, Healing Turret with Gadgets your performance takes a massive dive, even with Speedy Gadgets.
This makes double Gadget builds are very hard to make, and even the best ones you’ll have to live with an inferiority complex, lol.

I may said “underpower” but fixed also. Number of glitches iven increase over time e.g. rocket boots random direction change ect.

Fair enough.
I use RB fairly often, and that directional change glitch is very bad. Given this argument, I can very much agree they are not fixed.

ill take the response as there is no real place in 25 v 25 for engi right now
Maybe SD Engi, really gd at taking out thieves and mesmers, reveal op XD.
Also I’ve wanted to try bomb healing with melee train, something like 4/0/6/4/0 or 4/0/6/0/4 depends on your slots. For slots I’d say toolkit, slick shoes, elixir gun, elixir B mine field, all interesting choices.
I’ve made armor sets for both, but I’ve never had a gd chance to use them yet. If they work well I’ll let you know.

I have no idea that’s backed by proof of success. I don’t 25v25.
But if I was going to zerg all day, on an Engineer, I surely would want something that can survive while staying with the Driver, have great support, and CC.
Key things that are nice for group play:
- Great combo field mastery: 3 blast finishers – Healing Turret, Acid Bomb, Big ol’ Bomb.
- Combo fields: Water x2, Fire, Smoke, Light.
- CC, – AoE: Magnetic Bomb Kit Refinement, Big ol’ Bomb. Single Target: Grab someone with Magnet, Overcharged Shot into the blob.
- With defensive food, -93% reduction to Cripple, Immob, and Chill. -60% reduction to all conditions.

thats a good build, it’s best part is the almost complete immunity to movement impairing condies but:
you really don’t need enhanced performance, you’ll be at perma 25 might if your group is any good.
taking eg toolbelt as a single stunbreak is a generally bad idea at these scales. inertial converter won’t help you much. if you get stunned by a hammer train you’ll likely be chain stunned and ringed by guardians/eles and die a horrible death. If you do run a single stunbreak at these scales, elixir S is a generally better idea since it allows for you to return to the backlines/regroups and can turn fights around with safe stomps whenever you have friendlies needing a rally.
you also don’t need that much celestial, your condies won’t stick and since healing comes from blasts/regroups primarily, your own healing power isn’t too relevant except for backpack regenerator.
This is what I’ve been using recently:

the damage multipliers -perma +20% dmg- will allow for great sustained aoe damage with bomb and rifle autos (3k+aoe dmg per autoattack on bombs) and when theres a call for burst damage you just unleash thow wrench and the rifle skills (blunderbuss, jumpshot).
I’ve been using this for 5 man groups fighting 10-15 sized guilds with great success recently. I assume it would also work in a even numbers gvg situation although the need for high/burst damage isn’t as big there.
