just spitting out a few ideas I came up with to try and make certain unused skills / traits (gadets, most gyros, etc.) more useful/ used more often

utility goggles: leaves what is alreayd there (the blind immunity and fury) but adds a pulsing aoe for its duration, giving nearby enemies x% increased incoming damage (outside of vulnerability)

land mine: increase the aoe by 60 and have it remove a few more boons (and maybe increasing its damage

purge gyro: simply make it a aoe condi clease instead of a single target

every single turret: give them a reduced condi damage unless the player giving the condis is targeting the turret

med kit: make its auto attack work like the druids and atleast do some damage, though for the rest of the skills they should be swapped out because you can’t use any of those effectively as most of the time it rater, hits the wrong target, or your only using them on yourself.

stimulate supplier: replace this with what ever you replace the med kit skill with

couldn’t think of any for the rest of them, though the rest also have there own uses that just depend on what your build is

This so much. I have no idea why its not done yet. Its just a minor change, not a real gamechanger.

it really isn’t, in only the most ideal situation will it cleanse any one but you in its current form, and its the only gyro that does a single target ability (for blast I’m counting its explosion not its throwing dart)

Right? Most of our attacks are projectiles, lots of classes have projectile stopping skills and on top of that they can also block and then maybe invuln skills. This puts us in a very bad situation because not only that our skills are avoidable and we need a good CC (which we don’t have enough good ones) to apply good damage, our opponents can evade, block, reflect projectiles and become invulnerable.

Just having a skill that gives you unblockable attacks for a few seconds will fix most of the core engineer’s problems.

At this point, I’m ok with any changes that would make other skills more useful in pve. I’d love to have a gadgeteer build. At the short time in past there was an ultraglass oneshot miner build that was a lot of fun.
