The Guardian Wall: A Theoretical WvW Build
I’ve tried things like this before during a breach. Line of Warding>Sanctuary>Tome of Wrath>Judgment
Doesn’t work 90% of the time. Most people have stability and just blow through all your lines and bubbles.

I was unaware that Stability was able to get through those wardings.
Yep not to mention for line of warding people can actually just dodge/leap right through it.
The wall does not prevent movement, sadly. But the others do.
I have done this exact thing multiple times and I think you’d be surprised how useful it is. Sure, there are a couple people who breeze right through with stability, but you have isolated them from the mob and they can be picked off by those above you. I’ve stopped huge mobs of players in their tracks at the narrow ramps by utilizing staff 5, shield 5 and sanctuary. It hasn’t ever completely turned the tide of a battle but it sure does make an impact and it is really ridiculously entertaining.
There is a far better tactic to do with a group of Guardians. 3 Guardians using staff stand behind the gate and spam 1, 3, 4. No rams or Golems will be alive for long. The only way to break through a fortification with at least 3 guardians protecting it is with trebuchet or catapult.
Heck, even 1 Guardian is enough to keep the gate clear of rams. But anyway, The best thing to do with situations such as an enemy zerg breaking down a wall is to have siege machines to cover the breach. The bunkers act as bait to keep the enemy in that spot whilst arrow carts and balistas and catapults completely wipe out the enemy.
Guardians are rdiculously good at this kind of thing and if they all used hammer and writ of the merciful, it would be VERY difficult to kill them.

My guild currently uses a tactic like this with multiple Guardians, in conjunction with our Necromancers to mass strip boons (no stability). It can stop a zerg of 100 in it’s tracks.
We have ourselves trained up so that we’re in groups for easy identification, and we break into a line at a moment’s notice. Ring of Warding + Wall of Reflection into Staff ‘1’ spam + Line of Warding at RoW’s end.
