Is this in pvp? Guardians are arguably in the worst state there. If you are serious, here’s some suggestions:

- Bring the trait that triggers endure pain (it’s in the meta build). And bring endure pain too. Now you won’t get bursted.
- The meta build also has shield master, which reflects projectiles while blocking.
- The meta build also has stability in enrage, so you won’t get cc’ed as often.

No, seriously, I’m asking you to think it out. Do you think Anet is intentionally favoring certain classes over others? Do you think it might just be a temporary ebb and flow of power from one balance patch to the next, because perfect balance is hard? Do you think it might be an issue with what’s popular right now getting the most refinement by player-strategists, or some classes having a higher skill requirement without a corresponding higher power ceiling? Could it be a matter of perspective, and that playing one of these “overpowered” classes might not be so easy as it seems?

Some or none of those might be the answer you’re looking for, but I wonder what answer you’re expecting, besides simple agreement/disagreement.

Has to be a troll thread or new to pvp…I cringe when there’s DHs on my team. Yeah, an exceptional player can do some work on it, but that’s usually not the case.

considering he also just made the same accusations in EVERY other class thread, I will say he just is a troll. I clicked on his posting history and had a good laugh.

Thank good Anet is hiding the broken of the class design and balance by deleting stats they add to pvp XD, yet game is know to be dumbly broken, reason population has dropped.

All you do is complain about every class saying they are over powered in every single different sub-forum on this website. Then you follow up by saying your engineer is unplayable, nerfed, and useless. Engineer is doing just fine right now in PvP, you have a learn to play issue.

Any class is OP if you “loose 1vs1”, which usually applies for sPvP and WvW roaming.

Just learn your skills, be aware of cool downs and predict opponent’s moves. (watch for boons, etc).

L2P issue or build issue. Just because Scrapper can’t cheese it up as well as it did doesn’t mean it is useless now.

I’m not sure what game mode you’re playing, but Guardian is literally the weakest class for fighting right now. You’re probably playing full zerk killshot warrior and one shotting yourself because you’re getting it reflected at you and can’t seem to figure that out for yourself.

Here we go again boiis! OP sucked at dodging, Op was like “Oh kitten predictable tell on trueshot” trueshot hit op, op got hit for 2k, started panicing and running around, triggerd ToF and kept hitting it for a few times, got downed.

OP: “Anet plz nerf guardian so OP right now, plz cant handle guardian too stronk QQ”
Anet: “Okay we gib nerf lelelelelel guard too hard 2 dodge we make trueshot even more worthless”

Next patchnote:

If your being killed by traps that easilly, u deserve to be a bag… :]

Play less squishy specs and u can even type /dance on guardian traps if u now how they work…

guardian to make damage and win they need 2+ vs 1 situations, besides that they die fast, even i kill them with a mace shield build…. that is how bad DH trap pooper is…

Does Anet have a timeframe for making guardian viable for small scale battles again? I can’t even beat thieves any more.

It’s ridiculous that a class can instantly kill a player from full health with one build, and be completely invulnerable with another.

Guardians are already considered as the weakest profession at high level play. Maybe you shouldn’t walk into their traps unprepared?

Bunker Guardian isn’t all that great either, especially if you’ve got unblockables to pressure with. The only “completely Invulnerable” state that comes to mind is their meditation elite, and its not only brief, but it gives up the capture point

Now an active action you might take to prevent some more of those deaths:

If you have access to protection/reflects save your cooldowns and use them when needed.
If you don´t have access to protection hug a team member that has ( tempest eles are your friends )
If you don´t have access to reflects hug a team member that has ( tempest eles and scrappers are your friends )

Only trapper runes need to be removed since guardians weren’t balanced around having stealth while traps should still have some subtle tell of being there but buff core guardian damage and range to compensate for it.

So long as they can’t do both at once I’m not seeing the problem.

Didn’t you know? Every single class in this game is OP and can kill every other classes easily.

Right .. clerics ele can whip guardians to death within hmmmm… seconds.

Only on thief guardians seem unkillable. I’ve beaten guardians on warrior, druid, ele, and revenant before.

Guardians will be nerfed when all other classes come to our "good spot " 2 tiers below.

DH needs boost not nerf atm….in spvp is one of weakest classes (and i main a DH)
