A feedback request.
That would be quite overpowered, especially when glamour skills are traited as such that they apply confusion, and allow you more mobility when trying to combo finish. The person receiving it becomes a sitting duck for mesmers to leap in to get chaos armor and bully, especially as they cannot use ranged attacks.
You can find me in PvP | I normally answer PMs
Try to work around it, either step into feedback yourself or kite around so the opponent has to focus on moving out of the circle instead of killing you. (Also try to use focus 4 and/or GS 5 to pull them back)
I cast feedback and they’re out of it before it is even done casting :x
Umm… it’s an instantcast…
even if they run out of it. If you stand in it projectiles are still reflected plus you have an etheral field for chaos armor. Though the only thing I hate about it is, I can’t tell during the heat of battle with a group of 6 + hostiles, if that is a friendly feedback or the enemies. ^^a
Potentially off-topic, I just had an idea for a Mimic rework that will never get implemented.
Make it so that it becomes a mini-Feedback around you that absorbs all projectiles for 3 seconds then gets stored until you go down/mapchange/activate. Upon activation, it releases a magical bolt that does damage equal to the average damage of all reflected projectiles * a modifier or just the damage of all the absorbed projectiles.
Feedback should be a targetted spell like Null Field. What the hell A-net!?

I like feedback the way it is, I can put it all sorts of places as long as I can get a target

You don’t need a target for Feedback. Cast it without one and it will appear directly in front of you at full length. One thing I use to do was wait for the catapaults to dissuade attackers from being in melee range. Then I stand a bit behind the gate and cast Feedback to troll everyone using projectiles.

That’s true, but then it only goes onto the horizontal plane in front of you. If you can get a target behind a wall or something, you’ll be able to drop it anywhere within 1200 range.
As far as having the bubble follow the target, that would be ludicrous, and I’d have to befriend someone on yak’s bend and SoS so that I could use them as a grunt to run around in circles spreading mass confusion.

This ^^
feedback is more of a control skill in wvwvw than counter skill. The most effective usage of feedback is forcing the enemy to think twice about the encounter. Even if you manage to down somebody, if you are not controlling the enemy zerg, then you are using the skill inefficiently. Mesmer have the ability to control the front lines, you should abuse it
