Mesmer

  • Power Cleanse: Removed the range fact as it was unnecessary.
  • Mind Spike: Fixed a bug where this skill was checking for a boon on the mesmer instead of on the target. The extra damage will now be correctly applied when the player’s target has no active boons.
  • Moa Morph/Tuna Morph: Fixed a bug that caused this skill to appear unselectable while underwater.
  • All Phantasms: The ghostly effect on phantasms should no longer fail to show up in low graphics settings.
  • The Prestige: Fixed an issue that caused the blast finisher to occur at the point where the skill is cast, rather than on the mesmer.

Mostly pointless “fixes” I am guessing the real nerfs, i mean changes will be done via stealth changes.

That’s the bad thing about going for e sports, there are periods where they can’t make balance changes because they have to have a ‘standard’.

Personally, no nerfs and finally fixing the Mind Spike bug are a win for me.

This is a pretty good update in all honesty. Sure, we are waiting patiently for the inevitable nerf, in which case a lot of us will be outraged. Understandable. By fixing these issues though…the mind spike fix is technically a buff, since we can better fight a foe using null field and sword combos now, AND with the blast finisher fixed on torch, it will be easier to combo with allies and get more boons flowing.

The mind spike and prestige blast finisher are nice fixes to existing bugs. That, plus no nerfs – I’m happy. I wish they’d be able to process the bug fixes a little quicker but at least progress is being made.

The mind spike bug fix seems like it’d be a pretty big deal. For pve at least where mobs with no boons are common, that’s a 50% damage increase.

Mind Spike and Prestige bug fixes are pretty big really. That’s a 50% damage increase on Mind Spike when no boons and you can now channel the prestige into a combo field like the good old days, instead of the awkwardness that we’ve been dealing with over th past few months.

My phantoms look like clones but with glowy weapons now, is that intentional?
I know the patch says the opposite but iv used the lowest settings during WvW and Iv never seen phantoms not look like phantoms, with with med settings they look like clones. I think I kinda like it.
