Hypercrushed
Best roaming spec SPVP in current meta
Hypercrushed
I always end up falling back on my 10/20/10/0/0/30 Manipulation-Shatter build.
Blink/Arcane Thievary (I literally go hunting for lich-form necros and HGH engineers)/and Decoy or YOLO-stun Signet.
I used to stick to staff for my second set, but its too defensive and not enough DPs, so I swap to Scepter/Focus. Warden is great for projectile spam and dat pull to get people off points. Sword/Sword rocks though, I’m kind glad people don’t use it that often.

Mesmer Personality Quiz! Exclamation Points!
There is no particular Meta build for a Mesmer in game atm. Every aspect of our classes game play depends on group composition and what the player best plays. That being said, the term “Meta” doesn’t exist for us right now.
So to answer your question, the closest thing to meta considering the game damage meta, would be a way to deal with conditions. As far as a build, just use what works best for you and your group.

Could you post a build link? I’m new to mesmers, and very curious
Couple things of note:
- Greatsword is also a really good secondary weapon, but I like to have one set for offense (sword/sword) and one set for defense (Scepter/Focus).
- Depending on the setup of my team, I’ll swap Signet for Portal, Decoy, or Illusion of Life. Portal and iLife take a lot of practice to get down, but can be really satisfying/game changing.
- Decoy adds a whole world of survivability and escape and is practically a crucial skill to have in sPvP. It’s much more important than Blink.. but I have a soft spot for teleports.
- Sometimes I don’t bother with Manipulations at all. I’ll run 10/10/0/20/30 in order to beef up defense with Warden’s Feedback (shuts down Engineers, some Rangers, and forces most classes to fight you melee) and team utility with either Glamour cooldowns or Medic’s feedback.
