Someone say game crash must be related to OOM
when you read the log it’s not related to that whatsoever…

Updated August 13
I am getting tired of most builds, so I wanted to try something else. I wanted to stop dying (full zerker) and get support for small teams. When I roam we mostly roam 10-15 sometimes less and sometimes a bit more.
So I did a support style build.
Reason I run support is cause I wanted to try something else
There are some changes I am going to do, but I’m planning and keeping “zerker trinkets” for the moment.
Pro.
Good healing.
Cleansing on shatter
AoE regen on phantasm
Boons in stealth
“Safe stomps”
Good Healing
Can change utils for certain moments – Trait also
+45% boon duration
SoI for giving boons to allies
Con.
Not always perma vigor.
Weak damage.
There are better tank builds.
Weak when it comes to making clone cleansing shatters.
“Prepare for long fights” (Solo)
I had some great fights with my new build. It’s a support, not going for the burst build, you can help with some dps on low hp enemies, and finish them with a stealth-blind stomp (Aegis – block is possible). It’s mostly to keep pressure off your allies by providing them stealth and boons, (heal from phantasms).
Reason I still have crit sigil on staff is cause I actually never changed it, can be changed for more healing power.
I’m going to look what food to run. To gain some more healing.

If you’re going to be pushing out phantasms, I don’t know that the lack of clone-spam is so much a Con as simply “not what this build does”. Deceptive Evasion is really good, but I hate to think of it being so mandatory as to leave a red mark in its absence. Likewise, the perma-vigor really just serves to buff DE. Also, I don’t like having DE on stealthy PvP mesmers, since dodging in stealth could give away your position.
I would have a hard time not taking Signet of Inspiration with a setup like this. I really like being able to share my Prismatic Understanding buffs. “Hey look guys, I are guardian! Aegis for e’eryone!”
Edit: Really, “as(space)so” = kitten? -_-

Might want to change offhand torch sigil, or mainhand sword sigil. Two on-crit sigils share cd. Trinkets I assume are for buffing damage in the support setup? Not sold on the full water rune setup either. Altruism might be a better choice.
Well the clone spam is a con for the condi removal on shatter, since you cant burst your condi away. I am thinking to do something to possible change the dueling traits to something else. I’m not sure where they would fit for now.
This is my first build I have done. I may have done some mistakes.
What I currently going to change, Trinkets and staff sigil.
Edit: Water is for the ally heal on my heal, probably want me to change that… it’s bugged… I realized that when I bought them. I’m going to change the crit sigils then.
Thanks for that Zen.

Decent build, traits very similar to the Chaos Maestro and Paladin Mesmer (my signature) linked in the build list. The paladin builds are meant to be more offensive minded while retaining good support – similar to what you have here. I use shattered conditions in the solo variant of the paladin 1.0 build and believe me, you don’t need DE to take advantage of it. You have plenty of illusions available when you need a quick cleanse. So don’t feel like you have to spec further into dueling just for that.
For runes, water is pretty good but your healing power doesn’t help your direct healing too much. I think you’ll get more mileage from dwayna runes (regeneration), where your healing power will really shine. As another mentioned, altruism is a great way to go as well, but if you go that route, I really would suggest you think about taking SoI to share the wealth. Without SoI , altruism is only going to enable you to AoE share fury (not as helpful as regen w/dwayna IMO). If you do decide to take SoI, it would be really hard to not take sigils of battle.
I looked a little on the runes, and I’m going to change them, as water is “meh” but works, there are probably dwayna runes that I’ll go for, since I want to regen-buff my allies. about SoI, It’s a change I can do.
Since allies don’t gain boons from my stealth I give them when my stealth has ended with SoI.
Thanks for all the tips I really appreciate it. If you got any other suggestions please let me know.
Hey dude, nice build.
Few things though, you’d probably be better served with Manipulation cooldowns rather than Descent into madness. Descent is better as one of those traits you switch to when you know you’ll be doing a lot of downhill jumping.
Also.. as a support build, you’ll REALLY be doing your team more favors if you share all that protection you’ll be stacking with Signet of Inspiration. I know it’d suck to sacrifice Blink (alternatively, you could also swap Far-Reaching Manipulations with Desperate Decoy for another emergency stealth/protection) but it would really make your support so much more valuable to groups.
Since you have so much healing, why not take Runes of Dwayna? It’d be a lot easier to supply AoE regen to your team, or Runes of Altruism to add boon duration and AoE Might/Fury (which would also help your own DPS). Even though you’re in Cleric’s gear, with 2x Sigil of Battle and Runes of Altruism, you can keep 9 stacks of might and fury on yourself/phantasms for some decent damage.
Question about Veil w/longer lasting Glamours… Can you stack the stealth 3 times with it?
Nice build, I’m also working on a support build, and we have some similar things, here’re some tips:
Try to use Magi gear instead of cleric. You will have precision instead of power, so you will be able to dodge a lot more. Also, since this is not an offensive build, it doesn’t matter if you lose power to get more critical crits for defensive purposes.
For utilities, use Null field, Veil and Signet of Inspiration. You will bring much more support and all boons gained from PU, will be available for other allies. In case you face enemies with lots of projectiles, Feedback will do an insane work. Think about you can combine ethereal fields with Prestige, so you will give AoE Chaos armor, another way to bring more support.
Now that you don’t have blink, you can change duel trait for a more useful one. I think the sword one is the better in these type of cases, cause you have a faster frenzy, which also helps to compensate the lost of blink.
There are some things I’m going to change.
Things I have canged today.
I’m going to update the build in a few min.* Updated*
Veil last 8 second but I have never been able to stack stealth 3 times.
Edit: I did a portalbomb with a “veil” exit. making all allies take it go trough my veil making “surprise” portal bomb. Al-trough I’m not a fan of portalbombing after a fail I did some time ago (4months I think). Made my zerg die, so I try to avoid it, but sometimes I manage to and it is a real fun.
