Hey guys, me again, i’m sure you hate me by now!

This is another weird build working around Prismatic understanding, this time i’m attempting a Scepter/Pistol + Sword/Focus build. Now, hear me out, this build isn’t built to be some amazingly good build that’ll rip enemies to shreds in seconds, it’s meant to be fun! Effective, but fun.

The first build works with 10/30/30, for Prismatic understanding, but since I no longer use torch, I believe it could be better used elsewhere;

The variation of this build I uh…I’ve no idea. What I need to figure out is; If we take 20/30 points out of Chaos and put them uh…Elsewhere. Work out what runes and possibly a change in sigils, i’m really not sure. I usually go with whats flashy and fun (Fire sigils).

You know, I read the word “fun” so many times that I figured if I chanted the OP infront of a mirror three times in the dark a Candy-Fairy would pop up and smother me with delicious treats. (It didn’t work)

To the point though.. Your request is a little vague, it looks like you want to make a PU build… without PU? Since you have focus, I’d suggest Traiting it, and adding a reflect theme to your build (as well as a combo field). If you go that route, throw the 20 points into Inspiration for Medic’s Feedback and Warden’s Feedback.

Since your clones are already exploding conditions on death, why not add Crippling Dissipation (Chaos V) for … more conditions? Though it’s a bit RNG, the potential to proc Weakness is a big help. The extra vuln may not hurt either.

It’s a bit hard to direct ya when .. well.. you could really do a lot with a free 20-30 points and each choice would have an impact on the build direction. Do you have any ideas of what other traits yer interested in?

I have my own 10/30/30/0/0 build I am working on, so I see what you did there. But the question I have to ask is: Your equip has zero condition damage, why going for any condition traits? And no torch for cloaking, looks like you miss out even more funtionality for traits.
I can not see how this all works together.

Sorry to be so uh…Odd, I don’t really even know what I want either at this point!

I’m trying to make, to some degree, a power build revolving around the weapon set Scepter/Pistol + Sword/Focus.

It was ORIGINALLY a PU build but without the torch it’s nullified it a bit so I was wondering how I could better spend those points. I could split the 30 into 10 for Chaos and 20 for Inspiration giving my Phantasms a boost and helping support wise, as well as boost my Focus skill #4.

Or instead of Inspiration, I could put 20 into Illusions for 20% quicker Phantasms (Not sure if this stacks with other weapon proficiency skills)

I’m not sure that a Condition would would be too efficient for me as I do more PvE than WvW/PvP at this point.

The trait that i’ve been eyeing up is the Empowering Mantra’s (4% more damage per readied mantra) due to the upcoming mantra changes.

EDIT; In response to the “fun” issue, I have fun with my weapon set, thats what makes it fun! It’s more so i’m looking to be a bit more efficient with it, sorry if i’m a bit confusing.
