Hybrids (direct+condition)
Well, I am working on the revised version of my Apex Predator build. I am working my butt off to try to balance everthing and make the stats fit. So far I think I have done around like 40-50 attempts at armor combos. Lol. Anyways, if I finish the revised build, I will show it to you guys. I don’t think I can post the vid on the same day as me posting the revised build. It’s just not possible with the type of enemies I am facing.
Just a hint to you all people who are a bit concerned about Hybrid build’s survivability. I have increased the health exponentially.

Hm, I am also wondering. What does your build look like without additional buffs from worlds and orbs? Could you show us?
Buffs are nothing, sometimes they have buffs, sometimes you have buffs, sometimes nobody has buffs. Playing past buffs is, or has to be rather, part of the package.
I play my 2nd hybrid lockdown-build mainly in WvW and its great once you get used to the reactive gameplay (link in signature)
Ross, I have seen your video compilation. They are amazing, but I want to see the build. Could you have the time to put your build into skills.net and show it to us? Just curious. I think everyone else is too. that’s what I was asking in the beginning.
I m playing this Build . In my oppinion one of the best duel builds .

Most fun build I’ve played. And since everyone’s got a witty name for their build, I wanna call this The Vanishing Balthazar!
Osicat’s Shatter Heavy 3.0 is sort of hybrid as it relies on might stacking along with a celestial amulet.
If you have 25 stacks of Crit (Sigil of Perception) and 25 stacks of Might, you have ~2787 Power/~3898 Attack. Also, by using Celestial Ammy (354 condition damage) and with the 25 stacks of Might, you also have ~1229 Condition Damage.
Crit is 52-59%, Crit Dmg is 73-74% and Boon Duration is 20%.
You can also change out the Precision sigil for Bloodlust for a reduction of precision but gain more power instead.
Sort of hybrid-ish.

I’ve been using Doiid’s hybrid phantasm build My armor/trinket setup is a bit different but achieves the same effect. It still does a ton of damage but also stacks massive amounts of bleeds (due to bleed on illusion crits, and stacks of might). Last night, with the new tickers, I saw a guy ticking for 1100 bleeding damage on what I consider a power heavy build. I had around 15 stacks of might at the time, so that means my phantasms alone had stacked at least 11 bleeds. I love using gs and s/x and this is my favorite build that I’ve played w/this weaponset.
