Hi.

Thing is we al get outplayed by somone, some ppl prefere to go qq and rant about it. Personaly I do more feel a deep resspect for ppl who kick my butt in a spectacilar way and they should have creed.

I add a smal story of creed to the best/smartest enemys that owned me. If anyone else have a simmilar story to add feel free to give some credit to who ever that was or if it was a spectacular guild gank on you feel free to add. Videos and pics make it even better.

So here is mine:

This morning I logged on borderlands for some roaming, did my normal run and as always I got some /w from ppl I know or who that have something on ther mind. This person send a really cherry good morning whisper, asked some questions but mesmers and I started chatt. I hide behind the windmill and he asked what I was up to. Told him I standing chatting, just did hide to not get ganked.

Dint have time to send last mess before I got totaly chewed and spat out, a thief appered and kicked my kitten so fast and I who was typing …

Next wisper was HAHAHHAHAHAHHA Owned. It turned out the thief was chatting with me, had recogniced my guild name and started stalk me untill I was in the discussion and hidden…. That was mabye the best assasination I seen in gw2.

Thought i could stomp all over this guardian one time and was doing a good job at it, then out of nowhere its as if he gained a thousand points of damage and starting smearing my face all over walls and floors. Decided it would be best to fight another day or at least give myself a chance to pick up where i left off but NOoOoO EVERY TIME I tried to get away he managed to yank me back into the fight. This lasted about 20 minutes and it was as though he were toying with me, i couldnt manage to stay above 2000 health, couldnt gain stability, clones just gave up and ran away leaving little notes that said “good luck with that – Love, Steve”. Finally after being tormented for a period of time i gave up and stopped healing, knocked me over and dropped a deer on me.
Never have i seen someone put so much effort into not just winning a fight but coming off a deficit with a class not meant to do as much damage as he put out, the guy made me facepalm.

Dunno Osi.. Is this a good story or Sarcasm. I don’t really get it hahaha.. Because the meaning of “Outplayed” are 2 for me. “Ur enemy do better in term of skills rather than u” or “Ur enemy use dirty trick coz s/he has less skills than u”

And for me i got owned too by ur type Osi, Maybe yesterday… For 1st time I see the “True Power” of Shatter Type. Started Suprised with His Blink and 4x Explo from him then i blink. Then “3k damage from Lightning Strike” pop up on my damage log. Even he’s a Glass Cannon He took lot damage from me too but somehow i was on disadvantages. We share the same playstyle “Hide to make another ATK” But the diff he has a Gun!! Asura with A GUN!! BANG!! Got headshoted and All my Survival Util were usep up. I died. Respawned. Check my forehead. It’s not a hole anymore. Met him again. This time i was better coz we both prepared. Then when His HP 20%, Mine 40%. Both our Healing Skills were used up. I ate all ur Spike. Yeah i ATE THEM ALL. Not really tasty if u asked me. Prepared my Satelite Cannon. Got a Lock On. And suddenly double Blink. And he Ran away. Couldn;t catch him :X kitten . That;s Staff Mesmer for u.

I give that thief much respect too! Not everyone can play a mind game on a mesmer.

My guardian friend and I were doing some 1v1 duels when a Warrior hopped in and asked to duel with me.

I smirked… I mean, c’mon, it’s a Warrior.

So, as expected, I smack his azz left and right and sideways with my condition/stealth Mes (Shoutouts to Embolism and the others for helping me forge the build) before proceeding to go back to spanking my Guardian friend.
When my friend leaves, the Warrior asks me to keep dueling, as he’d like to learn how to fight against a Mesmer. I oblige of course, thinking it good practice for me to have some chump to do some testing on, and proceed to defeat him 3 more times as he tries switching builds. (I’m not a COMPLETE doosh, I was giving him pointers where I saw fit.)

So, eventually, he manages his traits/gear/weaponry in a way that he was able to rush me down and STAY ON ME which is especially rare for a Warrior, especially through all my stealth and clone shenanigans.
He beats me once. I chock it up to me slipping up or getting lazy.
He beats me again.
Now I’m a bit more interested and inspired…
He beats me again, and again, and again, and again.

We added eachother to friends afterwards, a rather talented D/D Ele also joined up and washed the Warrior once, then twice, before jumping on the spanking-train that I was already riding, neither the Elementalist nor myself could beat this guy (That Ele washed me up though, even toyed with me, I have a hard time with skilled Elementalists)

Its worth mentioning that after this humbling beat-down, I started watching Osicat’s video tutorials, lmao. Shoutouts to that Warrior, Embolism, Kahziel, Gaiawolf, RapidSausage & other prominent forum posters for helping me build my build , and Osi for being a good sport and always having something helpful to offer anyone.

I’d say in this case his skill was in how he set up the dirty trick. :p

Reminds me of a trick you’d use as an old dnd thief in a RP session to take out a higher level NPC.

My favorite duals have been to pistol/ pistol thrives. Had one catch up to me straight south of bay, and no joke, 5 minutes later we were still going at it. Had time to mass invis twice and was about to hit it again but we got steamrolled by the third server.
Was such a great fight with each of us dipping into the 10% hp area multiple times. I ran back to the same spot to find the guy again but no show. Hats off random BG thief.

This part cracked me up, but sadly has happened to me quite a few times… though I’ve never been assassinated by someone I was chatting to, heh.
