…what would it be?

To be more specific, if we had a utility skill that could be a copy of any other classes skill which skills would you take? (Was gonna limit it to weapon skills but why bother limiting our imaginations?) Personally, I’d go with…

• Illusionary Backbreaker (Warrior Hammer Burst) – An AoE stun? Gimme! It’d sit there nicely right next to Signet of Domination. =P A stealthy Killshot would be fun too.

• Illusionary Refuge (Thief Shadow Refuge) – Pretty self explanatory.. but imagine PU builds with this? Pfft!

• Ride The Phantom Lightning (Elementalist Dagger) – While eles have a lot of fun moves I’d love to steal /coughMeteorShower/ I think I’d enjoy using RTL or Lightning Flash along with Blink.

• Illusory Ring of Warding (Guardian Hammer) – Ring of Warding + Shatterburst = Trololol!

• Hornets Phantom Sting & Monarch’s Leap (Ranger Sword)- No but, seriously.. Why can’t our illusions get the same leap as the second part of the rangers jump?

Only problem would be limited number of utility slots – and we already have too many must have utilities and Condi cleanses.

If I could have a 4th utility slot though, I like the idea of RtL, or maybe even lightning reflexes.

Oh wait warrior Kick! This would be so fun to use. Blink -> kick would be a fun combo.

PU builds with shadow refuge… vomit xD Not touching that!

Edit: Oh, I wouldn’t mind having judge’s intervention or shadow step either.

If we’re going with weapon skills as well then I want the entire ranger greatsword. Seriously my perfect Mesmer build would use Mesmer GS for ranged and ranger GS for melee/mobility. Hands down my two favourite weapons in the game – such a shame you can only use one at a time.

Can you imagine – swoop, hilt bash, dodge shatter, diversion, maul, etc… my god I don’t want to think about it too much – would be the ultimate GS mindkitten build. I don’t think I’d ever play anything else or use any other weapons at all.

Can I just have something like the Simple Thievery elite from Guild Wars instead?
(For those that don’t know what that did: Elite Spell. Interrupt target foe’s action. If that action was a skill, that skill is disabled for 20 seconds, and Simple Thievery is replaced by that skill.)

Seriously. Imagine a series of purple comet/meteor effects slamming down on fools in the vicinity. Hell, make ’em shatter on impact, too.

May not be as useful in zerg situations and potentially overpowered in dueling/roaming, but can we make Cry of Frustration corrupt boons like necros? Serves the purpose of punishing people. Just feel like ripping boons aren’t enough when many opponents can reapply it within 10s.

Other than that I’d love to see mesmers teleport to opponent as easily as thief’s sword 2. I don’t mind if we need a clone at vicinity to do that, kinda synergize well with mirror blade.

Unlimited on demand dazes, ala thief style.

I just want mimic to allow me to actually absorb any skill to use later. Example: quickly absorb that incoming eviscerate so I can use on another. Be able to burst someone for 10k+ while shattering someone else.

this mimic rework would be so neat! abosorbing eviscerates or backstabs ftw!
