I have been noticing that some times my illusions particularly iDuelist will be summoned as if they are clones in that they are not see through and purple.

Anyone else experiencing this?

There is a graphic glitch with that. It sometimes happens. Particularly, you can make it happen if you summon ur phantasms and then cast an elite like Mass Invisibility on you and your phantasms, once the effect disappears, they will appear as clones. I play around with it a lot on the practice dummies in Lion’s Arch

I LOVE it, i hate the purple look.

They introduced this “feature” a couple of patches back. Its great for confusing clones and phantasms, lol.

i just listen to jimi hendrix´ “purple haze” while playin, which makes me accepting mesmers purple styles

Does it actually work on enemy player? Do they look like clones on enemy screen?

I think it does, i have seen players purposefully attacking the Phantoms with burst and everything. Great seeing them use their burst only to find out i am stood behind them just waiting to finish them off lol

I know for a fact that it works on enemy players. I was fighting a mesmer the other day whose iSwordsman appeared as clones. Currently, the best thing to do it look for the phantasmal weapons to differentiate the clones and the phantasms.

This is just getting more interesting. We now have yet another trick with Mass Invi and Veil.
