I map everything around asdwx. my shatters are same as default F1-4.
S – auto attack
R – Skill 2
T – Skill 3
Z – skill 4
V – skill 5
C – heal
B – until 1
H – until 2
Tab Util 3
Y elite
Shift – R for loot

I use mouse 4 for auto run and mouse 5 for about face

Karma is more or less useless
Laurels use for buying ascended stuff.

I know nothing about dungeons I don’t pve.

As far as the dungeon guide goes, it is accurate in telling a mesmers general job when people look for them for dungeons and PvE in general. Often times they simply want one for a portal to skip a specific part of a dungeon, or massive reflect with focus #4 or feedback. (#4 focus reflect requires to be traited to do so) As far as gold goes it depends on what type of build you want, such kittenter or phantasm. Phantasm has more dps, while many shatter builds rely on condition damage/pressure. I couldnt tell you for a full exotic build up, since prices are constantly increasing/decreasing everyday :p but for a full exotic build up with zerker/knights for a dps build would cost around at least 70g~.

Also, your gear in PvE doesn’t carry over to PvP, just the skins. World vs World, on the other hand, definitely uses your PvE gear.

For abilities, I keymapped my 6-0 to my shift keys. Shift+1, Shift+2, Shift+3, Shift+4, and Shift+5. Makes things worlds easier!

In general if you are looking for builds you can use metabattle.com, they have builds for pretty much every type of content, especially PvP, so once you start playing that it might be useful

As a mesmer, you can also find some Phase Retreat guides (so basically a list of tricky teleport spots on maps).

Hi there.

Firstly, I should mention that if you’re expecting a competitive PvP scene on par with what exists in LoL, you should turn around now. The PvP scene here is lackluster at best, and nonexistent in all the important ways at worst. If that’s not what you’re looking for, then you’re all set.

Next, there are 3 areas of the game: PvE, WvW, and PvP. PvE and WvW share gear, but PvP gear is separated from the other two. You don’t need to pay anything or w/e to get PvP gear, it’s (almost) all given to you when you enter the zone.

For keybinds, I like to use the following:
All shatters are bound to Ctrl+1/2/3/4
Heal, util 123: q,e,r,t
About face: g
Dodge: shift
(since I use g for about face, guild is bound to j)
Strafe left/right: z/c
Elite: x

I’ve also bound aoe loot to one of my special mouse buttons, but that’s all.

That dungeon guide is pretty much as up to date as it gets, and if you read it and follow all the tips/builds contained within it, you’ll be a fantastic party member for dungeons.
