I’m sure it’s been reported but this has been a bug since about October I believe. The trait Dueling: 25th minor trait: “Confusing Combatants” USED to work with phantasms as well, and the info still says “illusions” unless this was some sort of stealth nerf it only works with clones and has been that way for a while. I don’t what changed in an Oct/Nov patch but this has resulted in me never using the trait anymore because the investment in dueling usually means a shatter/phantasm build and if you can’t get this to proc on phantasms that get killed then it’s pretty useless imo.

I’m curious as to whether this will ever be addressed?

I don’t know if this is specific to Mesmers or just stealth in general (since I don’t use thief I’m not sure if this applies to everyone). But the elementalist’s lighting attack (the auto attack with the dagger I think it is – the one with the beam of lighting) seems to stay on you for a good couple of seconds even while in stealth. It doesn’t do a target reset which is very frustrating because if you get hit by it and try to decoy or mass invis that beam will stay on you and follow you around (while doing dmg) and by the time it wears off or whatever, your stealth time is up lol. A bit silly, and it’s been around for a long time now (several months). Not sure if it’s been mentioned yet.

It is the same for all channeled skills. Our Spatial Surge and Confusing Images behave the same. Still a bug, but not specific to a class

Some times when I auto attack burrow in Ascalonian Catacombs with my staff it says that I “miss” the attack and it wouldnt stop untill its destroyed by another player.

True, but how many angry players are going to buy a paid expansion when they release it if they haven’t even fixed the slew of bugs present from when the game was in beta? I certainly won’t.

Those are two separate departments. The people that make new hats aren’t the same people that fix bugs. They both have people specially qualified for their different tasks.

I do wish they had more people working on bug fixes though…

With the recent change to GS1, the piercing shot as massive, massive AoE against objects. In Urban battle fractal, you can aim at the center oil of the main door and hit the two other oil, the ballistae, and the door. So yeah, it feels kinda bugged, and a problem with LoS wouldn’t seem too far off. Like, targetting something in sight, and hitting all object in a 2 miles radius of intended target :P

Makes sense, except the object being targeted was at Jerrifers. Arrow carts on the cliff and was completely out of sight. The attack was hitting both carts.

Illusions/copies will, occasionally, attack non-targeted mobs, be they hostile or yellow. One instance was yesterday in Vexa’s lab they were attacking sharks instead of the kill-bot upon summon through the glass floor hexes. Other times it will happen in the open world with mobs in close proximity (<20m). This can be deadly if your are in a very close fight.

1 if you decoy while bein updrafted (havent tested with other.major.cc) then it will not break the stun

2. if you get updrafted with staff equipped and port back you.will be stuck.in a standing up position until the cc runs out

Any kind of knock down has this effect. Not sure if you are saying the standing instead of being knocked down is the bug or if it is because it isn’t breaking the stun. If it is the later Phase Retreat was never a stun breaker and shouldn’t get you up from a knockdown either. Though it is nice to get more distance so that it can run out of the CC before the person gets to ya.

If it is about the standing position you are in then I think that is a bug but don’t really know if they will bother to fix it.

Clones summoned by Deceptive Evasion always behaved like that. They attack the closest elligible target, not your selected target. Dunno if it is that you are witnessing, just saying.

Known bug with all teleport, since the dawn of (GW2) time. Sadly.
I heard the command /bug (or was it /stuck ?) could help you getting out.

It seems The Prestige is the oddest blast finisher now. It made sense to change it to “collect” the blast finisher when you vanish, but only “trigger” it once you re-appear.

Now, I have to be in the exact same field at both vanish and reappear? O.o

Phantasmal Haste decreases the phantasms’ (skills’) cooldowns. Even if the apostrophe isn’t in the ingame description, its wording is correct.

Also differenciate the wording of Illusion 5 (and other): “Illusion SUMMONING skills have decreased cooldowns”

Two things I’ve noticed…

Illusionary Elasticity still has no effect on the WoC used by clones;

Blurred Inscriptions has no effect on the reflection provided by Masterful Reflection.

I’m still in shock at how Illusionary Elasticity has not been fixed for so long. The staff is our only (semi) reliable condition weapon and this is a major trait that would pretty much define the weapons existence.

More exactly, only the F4 skill get benefit from masterful reflection. Blurred frenzy and blurred inscription do not. It has been this way since beta so it might be intended, but it can’t hurt to ask.

Be aware that PU doesn’t lenghten the duration of The Prestige, and that is intended.

@loseridoit : spatial surge used to have way more than “in line” AoE on objects (not PC/NPC). On HotW C1 boss, you could hit all of the totems from anywhere in the room (which shouldn’t be possible as they are in triangle formation). Now it doesn’t, it has way less of a lateral range.
As for blurred inscription : no it doens’t work on anything but F4. I just (re)tried it to be extra sure
Been this way since beta, I’m no dev but I think it is the expected behaviour.

I think a few if not numerous things that you have mentioned on your list are not actual bugs, for they could be intended. Note that ANet gave vague/information-lacking skill/trait descriptions. A bug is something that is based on an anomaly, whereas something is meant to accomplish something but it does not accomplish it or works differently than intended. Nevertheless I hope they fix these if really are bugs (most probably are and yes they annoy me too)

shatter recharge trait tree is incorrect, giving me 46 second CD when 30% reduced from 60 secon(Shatter #4), aslo for disortion etc. also the tooltip say 42 sec but when shattered it is 46 seconds. pls fix.

3 of the sword is not working properly, many times (especially where there are hills or steps, maybe even two inches away) the copy stops in half if not just clicked .. please fixate bug that this really is a heartbreaking thing ç_ç

Not an issue with feedback. Not an issue from last patched.
Reflecting teleport-projectiles. Working as intended, feedback is not supposed to be a fool-proof skill.

It is usually Dark Path that trigger this effect. It is a projectile skill that teleport the caster to the target on hit. Since you became the new owner of the projectile on reflect, it teleports you on the initial caster.

This behaviour is totally in line with general reflect behaviour, so it is most certainly intended.

And I never seen (nor heard) it not work when you don’t have swiftness already (unlike Mark of Swiftness).

As for invisibility, it is not due to ranger, they just are easier to reproduce this. In fact,; all action started before you go in stealth still complete, so long activation skills (like Long Range Shot) or canalisation skills (like Rapid Shot) still hit you. You can do the very same with our GS #1. It is very likely it is unintended behaviour, but it is not specific to mesmer.

And, last, do not write everything in caps, spamming the thread. You’ll get infracted by moderators, and it’ll help no one
If you think ANet will not read this not-so-maintained thread and you are ready to post a lot about it, I think they’ll be glad to see you open and maintain a new one (I would )

I would have to say this is still a bug, since swiftness is supposed to stack in duration, and if you have swiftness from a completely different source, the curtain does not stack more as it should. I agree it shouldn’t let you keep running through the same field to continually stack more, but I should be able to get swiftness when hitting a fresh curtain with 1s of swiftness left from some other source. Having to slow down first is terrible for a class that only gets a base speed increase with active illusions (doesn’t work very well out-of-combat).

Mantra of Concentration doesn’t break stun always. The engineer stun net and the rangers Entangle skill are a problem.

Well, Entangle doesn’t stun, so Mantra of Concentration isn’t supposed to help against it.
The electrified net does stun, but it also immobilize, so MoC should clear you from stun but leave you immobilized. Isn’t that what you are experiencing ?

Not an issue with feedback. Not an issue from last patched.
Reflecting teleport-projectiles. Working as intended, feedback is not supposed to be a fool-proof skill.

I honestly never noticed this before. I’ll try to test it in the mists
