Posted up a short story I wrote last year (before I considered myself any sort of writer) that I was rather proud of. It’s of my Mesmer vs my friend’s guardian several months back when we were still around 40. We beat eachother up in PvP to determine the winner.

How come the mesmer in the story could summon both iSwordman and iWarden though?

Ty guys.. He summoned warden and swordsman cuz.. Um.. when no one was looking he flipped his sword into his offhand. Sure.

(Or maybe he just hadn’t gotten nerfed yet)

Questions:

• Did you record the original duel you wrote the story about or just recall the events?
• Did I miss the use of blurred frenzy in there? Was looking/hoping for it … I can just imagine how cool it would be to write about that skill.
• Any reason why you used “kitten” a few times, or were those supposed to be other words?

I’m going to do another based on Mesmer vs Elementalist.. Any Eles-alts wanna duel & help me with the writing?

- I recalled the events. I was in love with Portal at the time and always a fan of sword/focus-staff. (Sneaked in the greatsword cuz I wanted to try to throw as many phantasms as I could into the story)

- I freakin’ missed blurred frenzy! Ugh.. Chaos Armor too. Those’ll be fun for the next one.

- Dat profanity filter. At one point I wrote “Chaos magic at _ its _ best” and the filter took it as a singlar woman’s boob. There was actually no profanity at all in the story, but the filter still managed to nitpick. I think my favorite one was “he went flying to crash hard__on his back”

Yeah BF and Chaos Armor will be excellent. Don’t have to just stick with skills right? Describing deceptive evasion would be cool as well.

Dude that’s a great idea, and really just inspired a whole world of new things for me to consider for the next piece! DE, iPersona, the “on-clone-death” perks… Ohhh man.

Speaking of which, the next piece will involve Mesmer and Elementalists.. I was thinking of making it a 2v2 or 3v3, any other Mesmer interested?

All I’d need is a lil short backstory on your character, and a willingness to help me duel the Eles that will be in the story. (The winners of the fights in the story are based off actual duels)
