Really,Mesmers are I just started playing one today (A norn one)
Mesmers are just amazing The skills,The flawlessness of their moves is just fantastic!

I can’t stand to play another class (Other than my Warrior)
My question is,Do you like mesmers?
Are you obsessed with them?

I’d be surprised if anyone disagrees, other than maybe GW1 veterans who don’t like what’s become of the class.

As 1, I agree, Mesmers in GW2 aren’t what they were in GW1. But then again, I just treat this class as a different class with the same name. I like both designs.

It’s also why I’m not playing necro, the GW2 necro just isn’t as fun as the GW1 necro and it just keeps bugging me.

Though, yeah.. Mesmers are great. I do get a bit frustrated about having to set up damage when every other class can do it from their own weapon right away. That aside, I love them.
I also mained a Warrior when I first started, and even to this day it’s my most played character. But I still much prefer my Mesmer. There’s no denying that Warrior is far easier to get results on, but the challenge on Mesmer is what makes it more enjoyable for me.

Anyone else agree that Mesmers look epic,Their skills are epic or anything inbetween?

mesmers have one of the highest, if not the highest, skill ceiling in GW2. but it can get mentally tiring playing mesmer, and no matter how you build you will always have a weakness. when your brain needs a break, play warrior. warriors have no weakness. high damage, high armor, condi clearing, stability, cc’s, healing, mobility, team support….. i played my warrior several hours yesterday because my brain needed a break from mesmer. my mesmer would beat my warrior 1v1 though, except my warrior could just run away and the mesmer would never catch him.

I would argue Engineers and Elementalists are harder to play than a Mesmer.

I concur. But we do also have a surprising amount of build diversity. Maybe moreso than Eles but not sure about Engies tho

Oh great, and I’m leveling an engineer, lol.

Solstice, what warrior build do you use? I’m still looking for something “OP” to help me raise my PvP MMR.
