Hey guys, I had the idea of starting up a 2v2 Mesmer tourney, but I’m thinking we may be better off trying to organize weekend pvp sessions for all types of things.

5-Man mesmer pvp team (was lots of fun before)
Practices versus other classes/builds.
If you guys are willing, and don’t mind receiving random whispers, I’ll be sending messages to whoever’s online at the time to notify when we’re gonna start.
If I’m not repping OMFG, it usually means I’m involved with something else (but not always), so feel free to whisper if you ever need another body on the team.
I would be interested for sure. Just recently started using the interrupt build and have been having good success and fun. I could always use some practice and advice. Don’t hesitate to send me msg if your looking to do something.
I’m interested in practices against mesmers and other classes as well. I still find other mesmers hardest to fight though.
Maybe we could we have themed practices, like “How to fight a necro” with demos by you more experienced and bring in some bad kitten necros to fight against that could give pro-tips?
I also require a lot of practice vs other mesmers, it’s my hardest fights right after good thieves.
I’d prefer vs non pu condi builds though..
As Necros they are very beatable, especially if you run mantra of distraction. i’ll try record some duels vs some good necros running normal tpvp builds on both of us.
I can imagine a really good necro in wvwvw where dhumbfire and bleed stacking isn’t nerfed to be a massive problem though.
Take your time to learn proper keybinding, it’s worth the struggle

I have been gingerlay participating In pvp, but man the speed of the game for me and my situational awareness within it needs work.
Think it was like that but maybe even more intimidating in how I recall involving my mesmer in gw1 pvp too though. I just need to get over the stage fright n just do it more offen.

I totally agree. I have also been playing an unusual Mesmer build which I would like to try out more, this way – an experiment, as it were. I would also like to see how this build would do AFTER April 15th.
Sorry guys, my internet’s been bipolar this past week. We got a couple practice sessions in but not nearly as much as I woulda liked, but its cool I’ll be sending out more messages each weekend!
