I originally wanted to create a condition mesmer (s/t+staff) but with confusion damage being so low, it didn’t really seem like a good idea. My original build utilized Prismatic Understanding for the passive defense it gave through stealth and boons and I really wanted to capitalize on this awesome trait. So I combined a few build ideas (credit mostly goes to Osicat!) into what I think will be a very good all-around build, but I would like your input.

Condition Mesmer’s are completely viable, you just need to get over the thought of confusion being a priority/end of all conditions kind of focus, with confusion like it is now, its more of a afterthought condition, that you can apply just to get a bit more pressure on whoever you are fighting.

As for your builds traits, Debilitating dissipation/Mirror of anguish would be a better choice then bountiful interruption, as your only interrupts would be gs5 and f3, both on long cool downs with no guarantee that you would interrupt them.

Personally, if I was going for a damage build, I would just go all berserkers anyway, I feel that knights isn’t the best set available, and the extra toughness to be a moot point if you were going for damage.

Also, what do you intend the build be used for? Roaming, Zerging, PvE, PvP, Dungeons? without that I can’t exactly give you too much advice, as most of the times, good PvE builds aren’t as good in PvP situations and vice-versa.
